“I recently used City Barbeque’s catering service for an event. The service - from start to finish - was excellent & the food was just as good!
Two words - SMASHED POTATOES!!!!! Although everything was delicious, the smashed potatoes put it over the edge. The main dishes (pulled pork & chicken), with the signature sauces are stand-alone incredible. But when the sides are added, be they smashed potatoes or mac & cheese, the meal is amplified!
And the service! The food was delivered on time, warmed, and laid out in an orderly fashion. …almost as if they’ve done this a time or two!

“R.I.P. B-dubs! I will never go back there again for wings now that I’ve found Don & Sue’s… hands down the best place for wings in the Newark-Heath-Granville area. Only wish I had found this place earlier. It’s so cool. Very well decked out with a hometown sports vibe. And the food is on point. Great garlic cheese bread, great onion rings, great pizza and now great wings. They have an “extra saucy” option, but there’s no need. My wings were drenched in Carolina Gold (my fav). And to top it all off, Harley was the greatest, nicest, sweetest server I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in ages. Whoever is running this place is hitting on all cylinders. Absolutely my favorite Newark restaurant by far.“

“We had such an amazing experience with this establishment and with its owner. We ordered food for eight and it was all hot, delicious and wonderfully prepared. “Staff were friendly but very overwhelmed with the Saturday evening rush which lead to longer than quoted wait times. Pizza was good when it was finally ready. Staff were working hard, just maybe need a slightly better time prediction for customers to keep the waiting area from getting so backed up.“

“Chili blog on the road. on a road trip to columbus.. After a nice fall walk and some record shopping. i picked up Chili and cornbread. For 5.50 The chili was very decent. Huge chunks of beef chili and kidney beans. Onion dices so thin that you get that flavor without the texture they also appear to use red pepper but no chunky tomatoes. This chili had a very minimal amount of spice. Overall. 7.5 I'd definitely come back for the chili.“
