50 Best Bars near Northfield

“Speaking for skinfolks, this is a cool spot to get some good food. This is supposed to be a Mexican theme place, but overall it's a Honky tonk country spot. Skinfolks do frequent this place because the atmosphere is cool, and they do have billiards. 🎱 The most important part is that their prices are kind of weird being extra high on somethings just because they can.“

“it's great to see a locally owned business do so well.“

“Patrick Is The Best Bartender And The Food Is Awesome Love It 💯“

“Held our daughter’s college grad party in the Bocce Room. We had a total of 32 people. Everything was wonderful! Megan, the Director of Sales, was very helpful picking out the menu and very quick to respond to any questions we had. Our server, Nate, was fabulous. He kept checking in with us and was extremely helpful with all the little details. All of our guests commented on how nice everything was.“

“Used to be Z&S Lounge when we were kids, still same cozy corner bar atmosphere. Great service, plenty of seating with a large side room if you want to host a special event or possibly rent space for a birthday party or other celebration. Plenty of parking in back“

“Tavern Off Broadway is hands down the best bar in Bedford! The atmosphere is on point—chill but lively, the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your drink without any drama. And speaking of drinks, they don’t play around. They free pour, and the liquor is the real deal—no watered-down nonsense like some other spots.
The bartenders know what they’re doing, and you get what you pay for—strong, quality drinks that hit just right. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual night out or looking for a solid spot to unwind, this is the place. Salute to them for keeping it real!“

“We held a wedding rehearsal dinner there on June 27th. It was a party of 16 in The Porch area. Our waiter, Neil, was extraordinary, the food and drink was exceptional. My only regret is that we live 10 hours away so going back and sampling all the other menu choices is problematic. Highly recommend!“

“Food is okay, depending on who's playing chef...chef turnover appears to be high. Service is cool...especially if Mel is there! She can multi-task....converse, make drinks, serve food, and move bottles. Best nights: Wine down Wednesdays and fun line dancing Fridays. Always a good time!“

“I went here to enjoy a night out with staff and it was the perfect little bar that we needed. The staff was so friendly and great listeners. I ordered a tequila sunrise and a prime rib philly steak sub with fries and mozzarella sticks. I absolutely loved both! The mozzarella sticks are topped with parmesan cheese and were cooked just right. This is a great place for a quick bite to eat and drink. The Dj was also full of life and was very entertaining ? “My husband and I Stopped in randomly after driving past on a Saturday afternoon. We loved it. Sat at the bar. Talked to one of the owners who served up a fantastic cranberry orange margarita! Cozy atmosphere. We shared the breakfast burger with the most perfectly fried hash browns and a side of the Brussel sprouts! No complaints. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!“

“There's a mixed crowd (35and up). Not too many young ones there (hence the reason I enjoy going). Security at the door. I didn't catch the cook's name but she worked last night 8/1/26. Those wings were probably the best tasting wings I've ever had. Perfectly fried and seasoned.“

“Stopped in last night with a couple of friends as part of our local 'Wings & Things' tour, where we visit local hostelries to check out their food, beers, vibe & hospitality!

First up, this place doesn't look like much from the outside but don't be put off! Inside we were made very welcome by Jason, the barman, and the locals who were sitting next to us at the bar.

The beer selection was limited, no taps, but a decent selection of domestics with one or two local bottles/cans.

Between us, we had wings, BLT and fries. The wings were cooked to perfection (as we like 'em), crispy outside and juicy & succulent in. Both sauces, garlic parm & a hot bbq were very tasty & 'did what they said on the tin'. We could probably have done with a bit more spice/kick. The BLT looked great, well toasted with plenty filling and the fries were thick cut and again perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, we maybe had a one or two wings left but polished off the BLT & fries.

As always when we explore, we didn't know what to expect but the Handlebar well exceeded our expectations! We will go back in a few weeks/months to check consistency!

Thanks Handlebar for an enjoyable night!“

“I feel like I got cheated from an awesome experience because of my waiter Adonis. he was not rude, he was just inpatient, he didn't recommend any toppings for my steak and was so matter of fact, he said he been there for a while like 8 years but it was so rushed and he was a somewhat of a mr know it all, I would go back but I would want a different server, he like finished my sentence and didn't take my request seriously it ruined the mood, the steak was ok, Def not in my top 5 steak house in the area!“

“Chicken bacon ranch taco is absolutely amazing. Great vibe here, very chill and welcoming. Artwork is amazing, staff is helpful food is fantastic, drinks are classic to unique depending on what you are in for. Love this place and would highly recommend.“
