“Came during happy hour, so prices weren’t all that bad for drinks and apps. Entrees were pricey for portion size. The homemade tots were good but fried in oil they fry everything else so if allergic to seafood, don’t get. Service was slow even though they weren’t busy. But had a variety of choices not available at other restaurants.“

“The food was wonderful the place smells delicious and when you look around the corners and in the nooks and crannies it’s very clean. They were extremely busy and told me it would be 40-45 minutes I showed up exactly 35 minutes and they said they need 5 more and it came out piping hot delicious.“

“Huevos Rancheros is on the menu, but we've gone to several restaurants in southern NM and THEY DON'T HAVE CORN TORTILLAS to even make it with. Not Alamogordo, Artesia, Carlsbad, or Roswell so far. WHY IS IT ON THE MENU if you don't even have the right ingredients?!? In Alamogordo right now and the server just told us they're "out of the stuff to make that". We should have gone to Alamo Grill.“

There are 5 of us. 1 person chose the burger with Truffle fries, 2 people chose the Lobster Roll, and 2 of us chose salads (The Gem salad with salmon and the Ceasar salad with salmon). “I was just here 2 days ago with my two granddaughters Monday April 01, 2025. I am used to very used to craappy service from Applebee's as a whole. “Unlike “Mac’s”, or the “King”s”, they serve Very Hot, Large Crinkle Cuts, Hot ‘n Fresh Burgers, and their Shake Machine(s) work. Even the courtesy of asking how “was the food/meal”, as well as offering to take your tray/trash. Some may say … “So?”. ………. WelI …….Appreciated It! And here is something that you may not see in the aforementioned places: Areas wiped with Clean Water & Towels. To Include the Trash Receptacles (saw a guy almost washing one). I was Impressed at the Cleanliness at which the Restaurant maintained. 👍🏾“

“Bar maid's boy friend was at the end of the bar. Needless to say he got 80% of her attention. It was difficult to spend money or get a drink. Food tasted great. Although my French dip sandwich came with enough dip for about two bites. I would guess it was just the bar maid doing a poor job. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen. The Thursday day bar tender needs a different job. I will return hoping for better service.“
