“Excellent, excellent excellent!! I haven't been to Frisch's in a very long time and I know the chain is struggling as open times and drive through changes each week. This is a long ago favorite restaurant of mine and I recently moved back to the area after a 30 year absence. I am saddened to see it struggling. But yet stay the good and friendly place of my memories. Food was good, service kind and friendly and facility clean well maintained inside and out. Kudos to all who work hard to obtain this quality.“

“Usually take food to go from this place. For the most part, they are accurate about my food orders however several times things have been left behind like breads, etc. Dining in is always good nice and hot fresh food to toss up on the cooking of the food depending on who the chef is back there that day. Some days it’s perfect some days not so good. Service is always friendly. I’ve never had an issue with that.“

“Ribs and fries tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. Server disappeared after my food was served for a long time. I had to wait outside the kitchen to get someone's attention to pay my bill when I was ready to go.“

“First time at Manhattan's. Really came for the Reuben but ended up getting their Carnegie. The sandwich was big and was split between the two of us. Started off with the French Onion soup. Best I've had in Toledo. The corned beef and pastrami on the sandwich was generous and delicious. The pickled green tomato was a crunchy surprise. Free parking right next door was a bonus. Will definitely be headed back soon to try their Reuben.“

“I ordered over the phone, day after the German American fest. The guy was busy but he still knew how to talk to the customer. I figured it was probably the boss. I want to thank that whole family, for keeping good food around. That means more to people than they will let you know. The food is good and the portions make me feel like i got away with something.“

“We had a birthday party here with about 30 people. Kim was so helpful and kind with the planning process. On the actually night, all our guests had delicious meals with fast service. Our waitresses were efficient and friendly the whole time. All the food is amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. This has become one of my favorite places to eat downtown. Go visit them, you won't be sorry! Fantastic food!“

“My husband and I had dinner here before a concert at the Toledo zoo. I had looked at the menu online but I didn't realize it was Barcelona night, so I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to the regular menu online. (My mistake)
We decided to stay and give a try & I must say the tapas was some of the best creations I ever had! We thoroughly enjoyed the Spanish wine and all the different small plates we ordered! So many wonderful flavors!! Hope there's a good show at the Zoo next year so we can eat at your fine establishment again!!

“had the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, Sausage Gravy was Average but the biscuits were from a can. When you can peel layers its from a can. you can do better than that. you could buy a flat of biscuits better than the canned version.“

“It has been a while since I have had lunch at Grumpy’s. Very happy to see a new owner. She is focused and committed to bring Grumpy’s back to what is was in the 90's. We shared the Ruben sandwich, excellent flavor, toasted perfectly. Only wish they had better chips. I started with the chicken noodle soup. Definitely homemade, delicious with plenty of chicken and vegetables. Could have been a little hotter. As time goes by, the ownership will continue to add to their menu. Overall, very good with great service and atmosphere!“

“Been here multiple times and they always give me a reason to come back! Great customer service, the cooks are always nice and generous. Got an order of chilli cheese fries and 20 wings for 20 bucks, I originally ordered 15. You can’t beat that! My only wish is that they stayed open later! ?“

“Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!

“This was the first time I tried a to go order and it won’t be the last. The gyro was so fresh and delicious, enough for two meals. I had a mix of chicken and gyro meat and the taziki sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were great. The service was quick, and lady taking my order so sweet. She offered a water while I waited and then gave me a slice of baklava with my meal. I have heard this place was the best around and it is definitely true!“

“Very good cooking. Ordered cubed steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, cabbage and cornbread. So tender and tasteful. Also got the peach cobbler- which was yummy. It was very busy when I got there but they greeted me immediately and took my order. It was out within about 10-15 min. Highly recommend!!“
