“Updating this to a 5 star after our visit last night. Under new ownership you can tell everyone enjoys working there. Food & drinks were great, and the owner gave us a tour of the Speakeasy, which is open on the weekends. I highly recommend stopping by. We ate at the bar, cheers!“

“We got the 10 for $10.00 on the traditional wings. They were absolutely amazing! ( The wing deal is every Monday and Tuesday! Dine-in only!) We also got the spicy spud bites! And we LOVED them!!! The wings were perfectly cooked and so juicy! The creamy Cajun sauce is now one of my favorites! The bartender Allison was super nice and quick! The food also was done super fast! (It was not incredibly busy when we were there the time was around 1pm-3pm)“

“We have been talking about going here for a long time. I finally made the trek and am glad that I did. From the moment that we walked in to the time that we left, the employees were outstanding! I ordered so much food, and they were trying to get us the best deals possible. And when I say I ordered a lot, my total was $140. ? But it was definitely worth it!While we were waiting for our food to get cooked and boxed up, my son noticed these paper ships and wanted one. I went to the counter and asked if he could have one or if I could purchase one for him. The employee told me that they were free and that he could have a couple of them. The employee also said that they don't have toys like other fast food restaurants, but they had stuffed animals that he could pick from. He found a Thor stuffy, and he was so excited!After our food was boxed up, one of the employees offered to help me out to my car. It was lightly raining and I really appreciated the help. Because there was a lot! On our ride back home, my son was living his best life naming his ships. It has been three days and he's still playing with them!“

“It was the perfect place to take my mom as she is in a wheelchair. The staff was so accommodating. Staff was spot on for professional servers, which has been hard to find since before Covid. Presentation of food was excellent, and taste was exceptional. This is definitely our new family favorite. We are all adults and no children-we will be back again and again. “Authentic homemade old world Eastern European dishes. Large portions at great prices. If you go home hungry...your doing something wrong! I recommend the sampler. You get a little bit of everything. If you want their amazing strudel's get their early - they sell out quickly. Open for lunch from 11-2. Afterwards check out the meat market next door. Take home some amazing sausages, periogi's and other fine foods“

Our table was a bit dirty and so were the booths. Drinking cups tastes like soap.“

“I had looked at reviews since I had to go in for a fasting procedure. I knew I'd be famished by the time I was done. I HAD to try the eggplant soup because I love eggplant and it's something unique. If they sold it by the gallon, I probably would have taken one or two home. It was delicious. I will definitely be headed back even without a procedure at the hospital. Next time I'll try more but when I got there I was ready to get out of the hospital, period.“

“Wow. Everything was SO good! The cocktails were all awesome. The food.... delicious! I got a side of their Mac and cheese (just....yum. They have a meal portion with chicken, and I bet that is even better!). I also got the Hell's Fire burger. I love me some spicy food! If you can't handle heat, get the sauce on the side. Thats where the real heat stems. It was hot for sure, but oh my God... I'd get it again and again! We sat at the bar and everyone working behind it was attentive, kind, and had great customer service. Highly recommend this place!“

“Should be renamed to Spunkmeyers 'Identity Struggles'. It's a pub that serves your typical American fare that's also a country bar.? If you don't mind the music the food can be pretty good, but with that being said, it's also very much hit 'n miss. Good one day terrible the next.Service is slow. Do not come here in a rush. Expect to be there for at very minimum an hour. Doesn't matter if it's lunch on a Tuesday and your one of three people there or bar rush. Gonna be an hour at least.Lastly, with the newest owners, they seem to be in pursuit of constantly changing their menu items. Doesn't matter if it's been a well established meal there for X amount of time or not. For example you've always been able to order a Steak Philly here and expect a decent sub. Nothing fancy just a Philly and been around ages. Now without warning it comes with a spicy relish on it. Combine that with the sub-par service/cook relationship and your going to eat spicy relish on it weather you want to or not. Now if that's not an issue with you then it's totally worth the visit.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids under 12 eat free on Mondays running deal every week that most people don't seem to know about or take advantage of.“

From the service, to the kind staff, the awesome drinks, to the amazing food… we left wanting nothing but to come back again. “the four piece chicken special was very good .. $6.99 + 75 cents if you get mac and cheese or smothered or fried which is cool still cheaper than the store. nicely season not too salty not over seasoned, greens were good mac and cheese was nice .This was my first time eating here and I feel like I will come back again. please just check and make sure that your cornbread is not sitting anywhere to hot .. one was perfect the other one was really hard but I soaked it in the "pot liquor " and it was edible.. would recommend for nice ,tasty treat..great neighborhood black owned establishment..“
