“Just got home from our first visit here and I'm almost angry we haven't been coming here for years. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy; it really does feel like you're at someone's home. We enjoyed looking at all the old photos on the wall and it brought the feeling of 'home'. But onto the food. Everything was AMAZING. We got ravioli as our side. I swear I'd eat that sauce off a rusty bumper. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and despite it being packed, our food came out pretty quickly and the timing between our appetizer and dinner was spot on. The prices are decent. A little more than other local restaurants but not by much and it's SO worth it. We are actually grabbing take out tomorrow and I can't wait. Obviously I would highly recommend eating here...every day.“
“Out of this world hardly captures my recent experience. I ordered Zeppe’s Thursday special last week, and the experience was astounding. Typically, we buy two large pizzas from Pizza Hut. My sons eat almost everything while I fight for what’s left. Two of Zeppe’s XL thin-crust pizzas let everyone eat their fill with plenty of leftovers. “I was taken to Nonna's for the 1st. time to celebrate my birthday recently. The ambiance and servers are exceptional. Before ordering Nonna came out to introduce herself and wish me a happy birthday. I had the veal marsala. Every bite melted in my mouth. Then she came out with my favorite homemade tiramisu and enough cannolis for my family to enjoy. If you haven't experienced Nonna T's Restaurant make a reservation and get ready for some pampering. Made from scratch pasta, large portions, excellent service and the owner/Executive Chef, Alex, brought our food to our table. We watched as he checkingIn with other guests to see if they were happy with the food. Where does that happen? We loved the intimacy of the smaller venue. We were seated at the front window overlooking Chardon Square and enjoyed watching the snow come down as we ate dinner. This is a table I will request in the future. “Great pasta dishes in a restaurant that resembles its rustic Italian name. I got the Chicken Diavolo and it was very good. There is one page of the menu that features what says is daily fresh made pasta...want to try some more of those. Prices are a bit high compared to other Italian places in the area, but portions are pretty good and food seems pretty high quality. Service was great at the bar. Restaurant is pretty large but it was busy and pretty full when I was there on Saturday. Will definitely go back again.“

The owner was so kind and caring, taking the time to make recommendations about the rest of our stay, and the food was simply amazing. It felt like we were family even though we had just met. “The food was delicious as always. I was disappointed that the food had to be taken out, I miss eating at your restaurant. I ordered garlic balls. I got some bread that had to be pulled apart. There wasn't any garlic on this bread. They also gave Italian bread. Chicken Marsala was delicious with real big mushrooms!“

The dining room could use an update, but while it's a little aged, it's kept clean. For anyone with food allergies, we have a family member with celiac disease (very sensitive) who has eaten here many times and not had an issue.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options. So we looked up nearest Zeppe's locations, as we live in Ashtabula, and we usually go to Geneva on the Lake for Zeppe's Pizza. We walked into the Johnnycake Ridge location, placed our order, the person that took our order was extremely kind and polite. Told us about 20 minutes for our food, which was a chef salad. 2 pizzas, and some zepperoni rolls. Came back in to pick up our food about 20 minutes later, food was ready to go, manager took care of us this time, she was also very polite and made us feel welcome and appreciated. You have some great team members in this location. Now, onto the food. The food, was EXCELLENT!!! Like I said earlier, we live in Ashtabula, and usually go to Zeppe's at Geneva on the Lake, because we know we will get great food. This location did not disappoint. Just a tremendously great experience all the way around. Thank you so much for the great personal treatment, the great food, and the overall just excellent customer experience.“
“I met my friend here last night after not seeing her for a long time and her losing her son. We were sat in a nice area away from the bustle. The food was excellent and our server was also wonderful. We sat and cried and caught up until they were closing. We didn’t feel rushed nor were we rushed at all. Wonderful experience.
