Every bartender we interacted with was amazing, welcoming, and so knowledgeable. We also had the pleasure of speaking with Anthony, the mastermind behind the cocktails and the general manager. He is truly an incredible person. You can tell how much he cares about creating not only amazing drinks, but also a warm, inviting, and safe space for everyone who walks through the door.

“Best hospitality I have experienced in Cleveland. Cocktails are well thought out and have great takes on classics. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit, but also the Hot Dates. Cozy on the inside, fun patio and a very loving golden doodle friend.“

Service was okay - not unfriendly but not overly helpful. Coffee was great! Croissants with pistachio butter were THE BEST, would go back for this again and again. Other food was very small portions for the price.“

“There are 2 parts to this establishment. It was Sunday. One side there was a DJ. They were selling food in the back and someone was taking pics, And the patrons were dressed up. Men in suits and ladies in dresses, and the other side of the bar was dress down and there was a juke box.“

“We popped into Clandestina's looking for a place to watch the Knick's game. I had company in town from NYC and thank goodness we stopped here. They were so accommodating and friendly. I found out later that night they were short staffed and I would have never known! From bar staff to bar back, the manager even checked on us, I was impressed and will definitely continue to patronize this business. I was also happy to see a nice selection of alcohol-free drinks for the non-drinkers.“

“We found this gem today on our venture to Cleveland and we are very very happy we did! The food was absolutely fabulous! We shared the grilled octopus appetizer! So good it makes you do the eye roll and happy dance! My husband had the crab melt 🤤and I had the beef Lumpia!! We were so happy with our food and service! “My friend and I went there last night for my birthday. The food was amazing!! Everything we ordered was just delicious. Meals were paced out perfectly in between. All the plates were a good portion for the shareable experience. We ordered first was the tuna crostini and the lamb hummus. Both by far amazing! The hummus was the best hummus I have ever had!! (Side note. The chef came over and told us that there is this wrap on HH during the week, we will def be back for it!) Second was the zucchini plate on top of a ricotta puree. Amazing! Not sure how he cooked it, but it was crisp and delightful! Then we had this fried Idaho potato! 🥔 literally the biggest potato I have ever seen. Topped with a feta, chives and creme fraise, sided with a homemade sriracha. Just yum!!! Then finally, aged and cooked to perfection, a hangar steak. 🥩 sliced for sharing with a salad on the side. It was amazing! The chef did a great job on presentations, food, and that steak is to die for! Also didn’t mention on yummy the cocktail menu is!!! 5/5 would visit again to try more items! I might even order that hummus tonight again for takeout! 🫶🫶🫶“

The best part - you would never know it’s gluten free because it’s THAT good. I am a self proclaimed French fry connoisseur and these are the best fries I’ve had gluten free or not! “The food was amazing! Service was a C. Slow - we were the only ones in there. I asked for our bill & the waiter brought a credit card machine. I said, where is my bill and he says if you don’t trust me, then I’ll print it out. He prints out my bill, but when I went to the register, it was a different amount. Make sure you take cash or they charge you an additional 3%.“

This place is a gem! Plenty of seating, warm and cozy, and had a fully stocked bar. They also had pastries (the cookie was good!) I’m excited to come back here during the day- could be a great spot for remote work days.“
