“Came during happy hour, so prices weren’t all that bad for drinks and apps. Entrees were pricey for portion size. The homemade tots were good but fried in oil they fry everything else so if allergic to seafood, don’t get. Service was slow even though they weren’t busy. But had a variety of choices not available at other restaurants.“

“The food here is always solid and the servers are a lot cuter than days of past. Go to the north hill location and ask for Brooke n I bet she won’t let ya down! Even after the onion rings were slightly overcooked on the last visit, she replaced them with absolutely no question in an instant and though it took a while to get the replacement order, it gave me a chance to enjoy a meal while talking to her a bit longer. She was very sweet and I have been back a couple times since!“

“food was great....... except for the chicken wings. we came out of state from Buffalo NY for a concert in Akron OH. seen this place so we stopped. the portions are great for the price. I did the half rack of ribs and they were pretty good. my wife got a bacon cheese burger and loved it. said it was juicy and good flavor. the mac n cheese wedges were awesome. now this is where it turned. being from Buffalo I am spoiled and know my wings. I got the Cajun wings from here in a 5 piece to take and snack on back at the hotel. I took one bite and never finished them. the texture of the meat was super dense like they were boiled instead of deep fried and the skin was rubbery and almost like paper thin. the Cajun sauce was good but the wings themselves were just not my cup of tea. they don't come close to REAL Buffalo chicken wings. all in all I still highly recommend this establishment and the rest of the food. also prices, atmosphere, our waitress and the rest of the staff was excellent.“

“First time ordering from Big Star thanks to a pizza group I’m in on FB. Expansive menu including pastas, salads, burgers yes burgers, some Greek options and other Italian options. I can’t wait to order from here again. The person taking my order was super friendly. Pizza came out amazing. Ordered the New York style with all veggies and a side of garlic dipping sauce. Also Not greasy either. Crispy and balanced. So so yummy. Ordered the breaded mixed veggies as well. Delish breading. Recommend.“

“Fries were cooked well... staff was kind .. the staff needs to pay attention to their surroundings and what they are touching.. i saw a gentleman go from front to back through a silver metal door 3 times while I was there, and not once did he change his gloves.. he's "hands" may have been clean, but his gloves were not clean enough to touch people's food .. gloves give a false sense of cleanliness and sanitation. “Throughout the years, this is the only fast food where the service is consistently friendly. I'm not claiming I come here a crazy amount of times but each visit, in a span of over seven years - I can't deny the people are always friendly no matter who takes the order/is working at the time.“

“Not sure why these places went from “Too Hip to Be Square” to nearly always empty? The food that they offer is still of good quality. When they were busy their prices were sort of on the expensive side. Now the prices are in line with BK, Wendy’s and McDonalds. They are actually priced a tad better than those places. For the price you get a hot, fresh and totally prepared to order burger. They only put what you ask on their burgers. Maybe that’s the problem?
The shakes here are still incredible.

One addition that I would love to see…
STEAK FRIES!! The shoestring fries don’t travel well. They are inedible on carry out orders by the time the trip home is completed.“

“Met my niece here for dinner. She lives in Cuyahoga falls and I live in old Brooklyn. I searched places in Cuyahoga falls and chose this one. Neither one of us have ever been here. Frank was an awesome waiter and very helpful. I ordered the half chicken it was so delicious, that I ordered two to go for my 18 year old son and 14 year old daughter, they loved it also. We can’t wait to come back.“

“Bar maid's boy friend was at the end of the bar. Needless to say he got 80% of her attention. It was difficult to spend money or get a drink. Food tasted great. Although my French dip sandwich came with enough dip for about two bites. I would guess it was just the bar maid doing a poor job. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen. The Thursday day bar tender needs a different job. I will return hoping for better service.“

Love the fact that you can add/modify your order as you please in the self check out kiosk and add patties (burger or chicken) to your sandwich. And has a great beer selection as well!

“The booths was small for a bigger person the lighting was to dark. The food taste pretty good. I ordered a alcohol drink there was no alcohol in the drink. A $26.00 dollar steak meal was not worth the money it was a handful of food. I was disappointed. My first visit everything was excellent this second time, I will not eat here again. The male waiter was better. The meal was not worth $100.

“I was just here 2 days ago with my two granddaughters Monday April 01, 2025. I am used to very used to craappy service from Applebee's as a whole. However, this time I was pleasantly surprised My server was Kayla or Kayleigh, she was very pleasant and attentive, our food was spot on. I was blown away! Good job guys!“
