“I have gone there once a week for the last three weeks and the hamburgers are always cold. We had burgers today and all three of us got cold burgers today. The other people in the car did like the milkshakes though.“

“The biggest advantage to the rails burgers is the beef! You can taste the freshness of the meat . Most places buy their beef frozen from the same wholesaler (nothing special) they try to set themselves apart by creating their own sauce but a great burger starts with fresh beef which the rail has perfected .“

This was our first time back in a couple years or so… When did Five Guys get sooo EXPENSIVE!?!?!

It stung when the guy said the total. I thought I heard wrong. Esp when we were expecting a quick, cheaper meal but we walked out feeling like we just paid for dining in.

It felt like it should’ve been cheaper because it was counter service, but inflation has sure shifted them into a different category!

We basically paid sit-down restaurant prices without:
* service
* atmosphere
* or even drinks/refills

For that kind of total, we could’ve gone somewhere casual, sat down, and probably spent about the same (or even less) and had a more relaxed experience.

Five Guys used to feel like a treat that was still reasonable… now it’s like a “special occasion burger,” which is kind of wild…because it wasn’t even that great. It was good but not $82.17 good. Sorry Five Guys, but you just lost customers.“

“Bar maid's boy friend was at the end of the bar. Needless to say he got 80% of her attention. It was difficult to spend money or get a drink. Food tasted great. Although my French dip sandwich came with enough dip for about two bites. I would guess it was just the bar maid doing a poor job. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen. The Thursday day bar tender needs a different job. I will return hoping for better service.“

“We went in to order a cake for our sons 2 year old birthday. It was train themed and unfortunately they didn’t have a train themed cake design in their Catalogue so we figured we’d go out on a limb and ask if they can do something custom and we’re told they can try. A little after our meeting we got a call from Diana, asked us a couple questions and we basically just said an idea and she took it from there and absolutely nailed it!
You can tell Diana cares about what she does and enjoys decorating cakes, and is really good at it too!
10/10 will be asking for her to do our other birthday and other celebrations cakes for sure!“

He made sure that our food came out correctly and kept refilling our drinks! He was helping out everywhere, running food, behind the bar, seating tables. Great manager and great atmosphere! “The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.“

“Uhm, don't sleep on this location. Service was executed with a smile and food came out hot and sizzling. Applebee's ain't dead yet! The signs of life are at this location, to my shock and awe. I ordered the Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp and the chicken was incredibly hot, juicy, and delicious. My Perfect Margarita was indeed perfect, blended exquisitely with just enough of a kick without it being sloppy. Our server was genuinely nice and attentive to our needs. The manager Steven (sp?) came over to say hi and introduce himself which is still a nice touch proving customer service isn't dead. I haven't lived in Akron since 1998 but I'd come back just for another delightful meal here. Whole family really was eating good in our own hometown neighborhood! “I went to Applebee’s for a girls day and had such a great experience that I ended up going back again with my family! The food was seriously so good both times. It a exactly what we were craving.
