I am a picky Italian when it comes to Italian food and Alesci's has some of the best Italian food in Cleveland. Everything tasted fresh, homemade and authentic and my guests LOVED the food which makes me that much happier. This is the second wedding that Alesci's catered for me. Echoing other comments, while the menu is a bit pricey you get good sized portions. Another perk is that a lot of their dishes can be made gluten free. Overall, a great, cozy atmosphere and excellent service... this is one of my favorite places to go for a special occasion.“

“My husband and I popped in for dinner after he arrived home from a family event. We wanted a date night after being away from one another for several days/nights. It was our first time. I sent him the menu as he boarded his plane and he was looking forward to a “new spot”. It did not disappoint. We were attended to from the time we sat down until after we tabbed out. We tried several dishes to get an idea of their style of cooking. The prosciutto melted in our mouths.. the ricotta was extremely creamy and bread from Breadsmith? DELISH. The Italian wedding soup was delicious, the pig n’ fig pizza was excellent (kudos on the dough and crust!), the spicy vodka rigate was on point! Not too spicy.. just that perfect amount of crushed red pepper in the sauce. The wine list was an extensive and our servers (we love to sit at the bar) was top notch! (Forgive me because I’m bad with names but I believe they were Alyssa and Jackie?) it is now on our list of must return spots. They were jamming for a Wednesday night. We initially sat at the rail bar but a couple waved in our direction to let us know they were leaving in a few minutes. If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic spot, it’s not quiet but it doesn’t echo, either. The details are beautiful, the artwork is pleasant to the eye and it was a perfect romantic date night spot for us. One of the better Italian spots in the area. Kudos and thank you for a great evening! Oh. P.S. the 12 month prosciutto with ricotta “primi” is definitely enough to share with 4 people. lol. So good!“

Only disappointment is how cold it is when seated in the barrels. We like the privacy aspect but will sit at tables from now on. Barrels can feel like a wind tunnel when AC is on.“

“Another Road-Trip pizza review!! Ordered an 8-cut pepperoni and sausage. Took 40 mins on a Friday night (pretty normal). The pizza sauce was savory, the dough was tasty and the crust was crunchy, sausage was normal, the pepperoni was their downfall in the rating... I think the whole pizza had 16 prices (not joking with 2 each slice). But the atmosphere was spectacular!! I don't think you can take it all in with one visit!! We will be back, but they really need to work on that pepperoni issue 😁“

The pepperoni had a great crisp, and the sauce-to-cheese ratio was spot on. The only minor issue we had was that the cheese didn’t stretch—it came off in one piece with the toppings when my kids took a bite, which made it a little tricky for them to eat. But overall, a tasty and satisfying pizza that we’d happily order again!“
