I believe our server’s name was Laura and she was sweet and attentive and took the time to chat with my daughter. My husband tried the new dish, the New York Burrito, and I had the Mexican Sampler. Both of us would gladly say it was the best Mexican-style food we’ve ever had. Our daughter just had chicken nuggets and fries, but she was pretty happy, too. We intend to make it a regular stop on our annual birding trips.“

“We love Local Roots! We found them after a family member recommended and have been coming since. We’ll even take a day trip and fold it in to support small biz. “This is hands down the best coffee shop in Northwest Ohio! They have really fun drinks for different movies that are releasing, and have special seasonal menus along with your classic espresso drinks. Very cool design inside with an aviation theme, and what sets them apart is the staff. I couldn’t believe how friendly they were! It was nice to see that the entire staff was having fun and looked very professional. Do yourself a favor and get the PB & J cold brew and a cinnamon roll!“

“Great food, disappointing direction.
I’ve always loved the food fresh, creative, and consistently good. But the experience of paying with cash is beyond frustrating. There’s almost never anyone at the register, and the kiosks don’t take cash. It feels like Balance has lost touch with the basics of customer service. At some point, they got swept up in this overly “woke” ideology that seems more performative than practical, and frankly, it’s off-putting. Sad to see a solid spot drift in this direction.“

“Went here for lunch with a friend and we were happily greeted by the hostess. It's a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Several plates on wall were signed by local dignitaries.

There's a special lunch menu that includes a soup or salad, and spring roll or Crab Rangoon. We ordered the seafood stirfy in brown sauce.

Wine, Sake, and cocktails are also available. I suggest the plum wine or sweet sake.

Located near Levis Commons off SR 25, south of Perrysburg. I look forward to visiting again.

“Had a wonderful birthday dinner here. Service was exceptional, Madison was awesome and helped get me the Big Red Spicy Walleye for my birthday dinner even though it is on the lunch menu. And to say it was good is an understatement, it exceeded my expectations and was awesome! They have officially ruined Nashville Hot Chicken for me 😂 If it doesn't have walleye on it I don't want it now. Was awesome that the chefs were able to do this with the help of Madison. And we made sure to tell the manager Shelby (owners daughter) how wonderful a night we had and she was genuinely pleased to hear and talk with. Can't wait to go back and try some other things on the menu! And we will be back!“

“Great place to stop for a simple fresh bagel or a quick sandwich made on a bagel.Both are done right. Prices are what you expect for fresh baked bagels and quality meats.

Parking: Getting in and out of the large shared lot is never a problem.“
