“Had dinner tonight and was so pleased. Ashley, our server, was attentive and knowledgeable. I had a starter--Frutti di Mare--and it served as my entree. Calamari, octopus, shrimp, mussels, all cooked to perfection. I cannot recall a seafood dish I've enjoyed more. I will definitely return!“

“Our first dining experience at this restaurant and we will return. Khi our server made certain we were comfortable, explained the menu and specials. Was friendly and polite. Perfect. Camerons Old Fashion and Smokey Margaritas were delightful. The short ribs were tender, deep in flavor, enjoyed the horseradish puree (more horseradish would make it perfect). The duck breast had well seared skin, was perfectly tender, and a enjoyable depth of flavor. The sauce gravy was excellent. I highly recommend the lamb meatballs as an appetizer. Soak up the remaining sauce with the bread. Excellent. The pineapple upside down cake was a pleasant dessert surprise and delicious.“

“Food is good, though it is the only place I know where you have to sit at a high top or a bar stool to get discounts on appetizes during happy hour. Not everyone can sit on a high seat.“

“The house salad dressing is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever had. I reeaallyy need the recipe for it. I live in TX and likely won’t wind up in Columbus again so… just think about it lol. The coconut shrimp were so good and our service was really great.“

“We will MISS 1808. We had this reso for our anniversary prior to the announcement of closing. We were originally seated right next to the host stand. I was sad by this since I requested a booth/table and it was a special event. Obviously we tried to be understanding since the announcement of closing changed things for 1808. It was very busy and hard for us to hold any sort of conversation since every few seconds someone came in for a table but it was reservations only at that point. Hearing upset customers etc wasn't our vibe for our anniversary and I wish management would have thought of that instead of seating us next to the host stand/even the bar area on the announcement of closing. We ended up asking for our table to be changed, after moving inside the bar to another table our experience was wonderful and server made our night feel special again. 1808 was a Delaware gem and will be sadly missed.“

“I enjoyed a lovely afternoon brunch with my father this afternoon. We agreed that our experience was so enjoyable because of our amazing server Grace. I am constantly dreaming about the deviled eggs and the chocolate cake, you don’t want to miss out! Grace was very detailed oriented and very cautious about my severe tree nut allergy which made feel at ease. I already can’t wait to go back and Grace will be my preferred server no question!“

“Had the opportunity to finally stop in and have dinner at Old Dog Alehouse and this place was awesome. Food was great, served quickly yet cooked perfect and the service was top notch. Service is so important when running a restaurant and not only was our server amazing, but several other staff and on duty manager had stopped by our table to greet us and see if we needed anything. Im very picky about food and everything our whole table had ordered was top notch, hot and looked and tasted perfect. The beer selection was great along with the fun cozy atmosphere. Honetly couldn't find anything wrong with this place. Definately highly recommend. Great job Old Dog Alehouse. Will be back this weekend again!“

“Really enjoyed our Saturday night dinner celebration for 9 of us celebrating my grandson’s UC graduation. From the appetizers to the desserts, the food was outstanding! The short ribs special was very good and we all agreed that the bay scallops and shrimp risotto is an outstanding dish! The entire staff is very friendly and for a busy Saturday night, we enjoyed excellent service! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant in downtown. “Ten Pin is a phenomenal venue. Even before the massive renovation, they were great for bowling. Now, the bowling is bigger and better. The arcade is nice, but could use a few more classic arcade games (in my opinion). The big shocker with Ten Pin is the food. Do not think this is bar or bowling alley food; I keep being wowed when I try different items each time. Talking to the staff, they said everything is scratch-made. It's all great!“
