“Just so you know if you order mozzarella sticks they are not made with mozzarella and does in fact have a unique taste. Not the greatest…and the pizza tastes like gas station pizza. Grab some from the Sunoco around the corner for cheaper ?‍♀️ nice people though “

“Bar maid's boy friend was at the end of the bar. Needless to say he got 80% of her attention. It was difficult to spend money or get a drink. Food tasted great. Although my French dip sandwich came with enough dip for about two bites. I would guess it was just the bar maid doing a poor job. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen. The Thursday day bar tender needs a different job. I will return hoping for better service.“

“Another Road-Trip pizza review!! Ordered an 8-cut pepperoni and sausage. Took 40 mins on a Friday night (pretty normal). The pizza sauce was savory, the dough was tasty and the crust was crunchy, sausage was normal, the pepperoni was their downfall in the rating... I think the whole pizza had 16 prices (not joking with 2 each slice). But the atmosphere was spectacular!! I don't think you can take it all in with one visit!! We will be back, but they really need to work on that pepperoni issue 😁“

“This place was really great. Went there around 12:40pm and the women making the pizza behind the glass was so nice. She put on a small show for my 2yr old and she watched in amazement as she tossed and made the dough. I really wanted to leave her a tip. “First time ordering from Big Star thanks to a pizza group I’m in on FB. Expansive menu including pastas, salads, burgers yes burgers, some Greek options and other Italian options. I can’t wait to order from here again. The person taking my order was super friendly. Pizza came out amazing. Ordered the New York style with all veggies and a side of garlic dipping sauce. Also Not greasy either. Crispy and balanced. So so yummy. Ordered the breaded mixed veggies as well. Delish breading. Recommend.“

“When they actually get your order right it’s good food. The problem is that they screw up the orders too often. It doesn’t matter if you order online or over the phone, what you ask for and pay for is not what’s in the box. They either drown the wings because you ask for extra sauce (to the point where the box can’t hold the sauce & it’s spilling out) or the wings are bone dry. The last order I placed was for a white pizza with chicken and bacon, I got a white pizza with banana peppers, tomatoes, black olives and bacon… NOT the same!
It’s frustrating because the food IS good :(“

“Absolutely delicious gluten-free/cauliflower crust pizza! I love it. The sauce is perfect - not too sweet, and just the right amount of savory & spice. My daughter and husband enjoy the traditional pies, as well! Highly recommended!

Dietary restrictions: Cauliflower crust is yum! And the sauce is absolutely perfect. I also appreciate that the size is slightly larger than what you get at other locations.

“I called in my order. Not knowing their specialties I asked. The person in the phone was polite, helpful and efficient. I was told my order of a large two topping pizza and a 12 inch baked sub would be ready for pickup in 25 minutes. I arrived in about 18 minutes. I was promptly greated and to my surprise my order came out and was readied very quickly. Checkout and paying was easy. This same night, we had several people over. We offered a selection of our tried and true over time favorite pizzas. East of Chicago was the favorite of the group. It was the most gone of the three anyways. If there was a negative, it's the parking situation. Brecksville Rd is tough to find a spot sometimes. I hear they have a lot in the back of the building, and i haven't tried that yet, but I'm told its not as easy as the front spots. I'm going to find out for myself though.
All in all, I'd say East of Chicago in Brecksville is one of the top pizzas around the area. Not unique, but tasty and solid. But I've only ordered the one basic pepperoni and sausage. I plan to look over the menu and try something that may be unique the next time I visit and will update my review if so.“

Their sausage has a weird texture and taste. I assume it's cheap/frozen but I'm sure a lot of pizza places do that and it doesn't taste as bad as whatever they have.“
