“We had Old Carolina cater our wedding this last Saturday (2.24.24) at Lake Affect Studios in Cleveland, OH and we cannot thank the staff enough. We opted for a buffet option which worked out so well. We are still getting compliments on how delicious the food was. When we were thinking about food for our wedding, I knew I wanted a barbecue buffet! Once we saw they were on the preferred list of vendors for Lake Affect Studios it was a no brainer and we went with them as our first choice. We used to love eating at Old Carolina when they had a restaurant in Mentor, OH. Kelsey was so helpful in answering all of my questions leading up to wedding day, and assisting with the set up the day before. They did an amazing job keeping everyone fed and the staff was friendly and efficient. They let us take home left over food and we were able to enjoy the barbecue even after our big day. “I would give this place 5 stars if I could! We went for my birthday dinner and it was a great experience. They have a whole vegan menu and large portion sizes! Our waitress was wonderful too. We got the French Onion soup (which I’d literally never had before bc I’ve never found a place that had a vegan one), the blackened tofu Tartine, the Brussel sprouts, the vegan steak entree and a pb, chocolate, caramel dessert! Also, we ordered a side of the wild mushrooms and they were to die for! Everything was delicious and we had leftovers to take home too. Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in town!“

“Amazing, cozy, warm atmosphere. $15 beer flights of 8 beers and all are very good! Two hoppy & malty IPAs are among the best. $9 burgers every Tuesday- the Black & Bleu Burger is delicious. The bartender Kelly is friendly, knowledgeable, high energy, and fun- be nice to her and tip her well. Men’s washroom is clean and cool. Last but not least LOTS OF PARKING in their free parking lot. Highly recommend. I’ll be back! 🍻“

“Great place to visit with family, even a big family.
An absolutely fun place, they've gone all in with the Christmas decorations.
I had the brussel sprouts, chicken paprikash, and the fish and chips. All were excellent, but don't miss the chicken paprikash.
The place was rockin and rollin, so make reservations.
They own three other bars/restaurants on the same street check them all out of you get a chance!

“All you can eat fries with your meal the first order was hot and fresh.
The second order took forever to arrive at our table and when they did finally arrive they were cold as ice.
This could be because our server was distracted constantly by talking to her coworkers they were all just standing around either talking amongst themselves or playing on their cellphones.“

My margarita was wonderful (fresh lime juice in there) and the food was terrific! 3 of us, we each had a cocktail and a nice big lunch. Bill was under $100. The server was personable and the food came out quickly!“
