“First time there because we are not from Toledo but the food was great, the service was great. Very nice employees. The bathroom was even clean and smelled awesome!! If we ever visit again we will be back.

“Good food. Sometimes a bit tough to make a take out order. They get busy. About 80% of the time I get what I asked for, exactly. But again, not a deal breaker. They fix things. Better then many others. Nothing really bad. But very good food.. especially chili.“

“I ordered gluten free fries and kids cheeseburger with gluten free bun for my child with Celiac disease. The other items I ordered were not gluten free as they didn't need to be. I ordered all gluten free fries and extra fries with all meals. There were only 2 of the 5 boxes of fries with the purple pick in it. We noticed the burger bun also has sesame seeds and it usually doesn't. It was NOT a gluten free bun. There was a purple pick in the box. My child was very sad that the burger could not be eaten. Allergens should he taken seriously. I called the restaurant regarding it. Very poor customer service over the phone with no regret to messing up an order like that and potentially causing harm to my child. The cheeseburger was refunded. I will not be returning to your restaurant. Do not even bother offering gluten free items because your staff is not able to provide a gluten free meal. On another occasion I had a waitress argue with me that all the fries are gluten free even if there's no purple pick in the basket. Unless they are cooked in the dedicated gluten free fryer then they are cross contaminated! It's horrible that in today's prevalence of food allergies and people who have dietary restrictions, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN, that this is the best you can do.“

“My meal was fine...but as we were putting the other half of my mom's meal in a carry out box...we found a very long hair wrapped all throughout her pasta. Naturally I already paid for the entire meal and tipped. We told the waitress and got no discount...like half off her food since we left half of it there to be tossed. No voucher, reimbursement or gift card. Just an "I'm sorry." 🤢 Do better Chili's. “We thought we would try this place out and we were very pleased that we did. We are from CT, and we have some pretty good steak spots there but the prime rib here was absolutely amazing. A tiny bit salty on the outer crust but other than that cooked perfectly and the taste was phenomenal. Mashed potatoes were great all around and carrot cake for dessert was fabulous as well. I give the place a good 4.9. I will definitely go back!

“We met friends for dinner and were very pleased with the food and drink. We had our own dining area next to a big window and it was great. It took quite a while to get our food and drink but we loved being able to hear each other and enjoy being together in an intimate setting. I will say we were informed that our table was reserved for another party 20 minute before their time slot. It ended up they had been seated in a different area. It kind of spoiled our ambiance but we would go there again. We shared several appetizers and dessert. Drinks were great. Entrees were superb.

“Ordered cheese bread and a small 9” pizza and wow! The cheese bread appetizer is basically a 12” cheese pizza with a side of pizza dipping sauce ! Plenty enough to eat on its own!

It’s hard to rate a pizza against Fredi the pizza man in Melvindale MI which is phenomenal if you like a New York style pizza which I do.

But, I think it’s a really really bad idea for the Village Inn to serve a pizza that they baked in a plastic dish . Even if it was BPA free which I don’t know if the pizza dishes are, or, aren’t BPA free . The idea of safe plastic for cooking anything is concerning.
Their pizzas would be much crispier if baked in a pizza oven rather than a plastic pizza dish.

Great looking place in the inside and outside as well.

“Love this place! Me (from upstate NY) and my husband (from Canada) had never been to a Big Boy before, so when we saw the signs while on a road trip we decided to try it out. The food was delicious, and it was decently priced compared to most restaurants now. Only $30 all together, and we had coffee and an appetizer with our meals.

The one thing I’d suggest is that they get a new, less heavy door for their bathroom. It is EXTREMELY heavy and I had to go hold it open for a little old lady with a walker. Honestly, I have no idea how or if the lady got out of the bathroom after we left lol. Odd that they have a handicapped stall in there when no handicapped person would ever be able to get into that bathroom themselves.“

“Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!
