The staff here are incredibly welcoming, and the woman who assisted me was fantastic! The chicken shawarma was excellent. Both the hummus and yellow rice were exceptionally fresh and tasty! When I spend $25 a plate for food for 4 people I expect to have actual silverware to eat with. 3 of the meals came with food you cannot eat with your fingers (salad and macaroni and cheese). We had to asked for silverware. The third member of our table that had a salad and a burger sat and waited. Finally, another server came holding napkins in front of her like they were a silver platter, and I heard several people remarking that "they had found one!" That person delivered the napkins with two steak knives and one metal fork to our table. The restaurant was not busy, there were only a handful of people in there and so it's not like there was a sudden run on forks. I honestly felt like we needed to take the fork and each one of us have our picture taken with it since apparently there's only one at this location. As we walked out, I noted a woman in our section that had ordered a bowl of something eating with a plastic fork. I don't think i'm going back anytime soon. Marginally ok food in a rundown establishment and plastic utensils? Our server was very pleasant although I wish she would have told us that there was a problem with us having enough silverware to eat with without part of us being halfway through our meal before all of us got to eat.“

“We thought we would try this place out and we were very pleased that we did. We are from CT, and we have some pretty good steak spots there but the prime rib here was absolutely amazing. A tiny bit salty on the outer crust but other than that cooked perfectly and the taste was phenomenal. Mashed potatoes were great all around and carrot cake for dessert was fabulous as well. I give the place a good 4.9. I will definitely go back!

“Ordered cheese bread and a small 9” pizza and wow! The cheese bread appetizer is basically a 12” cheese pizza with a side of pizza dipping sauce ! Plenty enough to eat on its own!

It’s hard to rate a pizza against Fredi the pizza man in Melvindale MI which is phenomenal if you like a New York style pizza which I do.

But, I think it’s a really really bad idea for the Village Inn to serve a pizza that they baked in a plastic dish . Even if it was BPA free which I don’t know if the pizza dishes are, or, aren’t BPA free . The idea of safe plastic for cooking anything is concerning.
Their pizzas would be much crispier if baked in a pizza oven rather than a plastic pizza dish.

Great looking place in the inside and outside as well.

“First time at a Culver's.
Large menu with butterburgers, fried seafood items, sandwiches and a variety of sides including cheese curds, pretzel bites, steamed veggies etc.
Frozen custard has its own menu too - as is, in a mixer, float etc. Had a small 2- toppings - too much for me and very sweet.

Pricing got confusing for me but was explained patiently by an employee - burger and fries have a combined price, prime sides have additional charge, drink has a price. Very friendly staff.
After ordering, got a number for our table and food was brought to us.
We liked the food. Wisconsin burger was not salty, not heavy/greasy. Fish sandwich too. Self-serve fountain drinks - they have their brand rootbeer but tasted similar to other brands.

“My husband and I had dinner here before a concert at the Toledo zoo. I had looked at the menu online but I didn't realize it was Barcelona night, so I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to the regular menu online. (My mistake)
We decided to stay and give a try & I must say the tapas was some of the best creations I ever had! We thoroughly enjoyed the Spanish wine and all the different small plates we ordered! So many wonderful flavors!! Hope there's a good show at the Zoo next year so we can eat at your fine establishment again!!
