“I've been coming to the Skyline Chili in St. Bernard since I was 15 years old, and I'm now 32. Over all those years, one thing has remained constant: Christine's incredible service.
Christine has always been one of the friendliest, hardest-working waitresses I've ever met. She greets everyone with a smile, remembers regular customers, and makes every visit feel welcoming. No matter how busy the restaurant gets, she stays positive, attentive, and genuinely cares that every customer has a great experience.
She's always on top of everything—keeping drinks filled, checking in at just the right times, making sure orders are correct, and making you feel like you're more than just another table. It's clear she takes pride in her job, and that kind of dedication is becoming harder and harder to find.
The fact that she's been serving customers here for so many years speaks volumes about her work ethic, loyalty, and commitment. People like Christine are a big reason why families keep coming back to this Skyline generation after generation.

“Best dogs/sausages ever! 🔥The world needs more of this, seriously, I was blown away by the quality and flavor. It's just a hot dog right? Wrong, these are life changing! Cooked perfectly, tastes fresh, lots of great toppings all for an extremely reasonable price. On top of that the owner and his son are nice people, very friendly with excellent service. My favorite combo is the hot mett with sauerkraut, onion, and brown mustard. This is now my #1 go-to destination when I'm in town, I'll be craving these dogs when I'm back home.“

The only problem that has me disturbed is the fact that the young lady that gave us awesome over the top service was not the one that was gonna get the tip I left because she was in training. That just doesn't seem fair to me seeing how that is where she makes the bulk of her money being an amazing waitress.“

“This Skyline is larger than most. I normally Order a 5 Way Chili. For you out of towners, a 5 Way includes spaghetti, chili, onions, beans, and cheese. This isn’t your normal chili with this ingredient combo. Our grandkids love it. Today, I ordered a Greek Salad with grilled chicken. You can also get Buffalo chicken with your salad. It’s a really good salad with greens, black olives, pepperocinis, feta, tomatoes topped with a tangy Greek salad dressing“

“We go multiple times a month when it's open. It's just that good. I recommend the walking tacos, coneys and chocolate shakes. Everything is consistently good unlike most restaurants these days.“

“It had been many years since we had been to the Root Beer Stand so it was high time to come back. It had grown a fair amount since our last visit which was great to see. The place was really busy but they really are streamlined well and there was not a long wait time. There is a bit of indoor seating but a vast majority of the seating is at picnic tables outside around the area. Everything looked great all around the grounds although you must remember you are outside and there are a fair amount of bees around so beware of that. I had a footlong chili dog and fries which were excellent especially the chili dog. Also had to have a root beer float which was legendary as usual as their locally sourced root beer really is delicious. This is definitely an awesome place to go on a summer day for sure and it gets my highest recommendation.“

“We were in town for a soccer camp at TQL stadium the place is super neat located on the corner in an older buidling. Rated food 4 I got the 5 way, three coney dogs and a fry those were very fresh and crispy. I have heard a lot about this place I was not a huge fan but it was not bad. Service was a 2 for me because being the first impression the gentleman was kind of snappy as we walked in he said dine in or to go quickly demanding us step aside. He was not very pleasant to deal with. Maybe as a restaurant owner I expected the face of this establishment to be more personable. Over all I would try a coney dog in the future just at another location.“

“Grabbed a dog on the way to the Reds game yesterday. I ordered a Norway, and man I wasn't disappointed.

The hot dogs are robust and have a really good flavor. The toppings were delicious and were of generous portions. This hot dog was massive. I didn't realize why they offered me a fork, knife, and napkins until after I received it.

It's pricey, but honestly, it isn't a bad value when take into account how big it is. For the $10 I paid, I'm more than satisfied.

My only issue is it took a while to make. Not sure why, but it was roughly 10-15 mins for them to make my Norway dog. Thankfully the game was delayed a bit due to weather. But otherwise, I would have missed the first inning.

But other than that, this was a great experience.

This place has always been really friendly, peaceful, quiet, and the food is so good. I love my usual server, Amy, she's awesome. I walked in today and the cooks already knew my order, not even the Skyline in Delhi has that memorized, so it really added to the experience! “I get my salad every week at Lucky Dog, Murphy my dog is always welcome, they are good people. everything in my salad is always fresh and reasonably priced. The salads have a-lot of filling protein and flavor. If you eat downtown regularly you know a fresh salad with enough filling protein is hard to find for $7. Lucky Dog makes my everyday work life bearable. Also they sell the biggest fountain drink for the lowest price. and cheesecake. 🏆😉They have my loyalty“

“We moved away from Cincinnati about 7 years ago and stopped off at this location on our way out of town recently. It’s set a bit back off the road so use a directions app or you’ll have to go looking for it. Absolutely the nicest staff! We started chatting with them about the new chicken chili and they offered my boyfriend a free chillito to sample! We told them about living out of town and on our way out the door they gave us this gift bag! This will definitely be my stop from now on on my way out of town!“

“Staff is pretty friendly for the most part. Environment was clean and there was plenty of seating. Restrooms were clean. Items were stocked. Orders are freshly made so there is a bit of a wait time but it's definitely worth it. It's a bit hot inside as the kitchen area is open and doesnt have great ventilation“

“We’ve been to more than 30 different Skyline locations (so far), and this is one of the best. Lalayna offered suggestions as we ordered, juicy coneys in a bowl for example, and made sure we got everything just the way we would like it most. And we sure did like it! She stopped by several times, ensuring everything was good, our drinks were filled and we were happy. The manager also was visible in the dining room, visiting all of the tables. There were quite a few tables and booths needing bussed, but when the guy came out he did them all efficiently.
Restrooms were clean and service friendly. I was a lil surprised that they had only 1 drink size. Wanting a small softdrink, I was told there was only 1 size. I questioned one of the small cups on one of the tables that had not been cleared yet. I was told you can only get a small drink with a child's meal? That size is not available to adults?

Parking: If you go through the drive thru, it doesn't really connect to the parking lot. So, if you get your food at the drive thru and want to eat in your car like a heathen (how we do it), you have to go back on the road, make an immediate right back into the lot.Enjoy.“

The chili has a unique sweet and savory flavor that’s different from traditional chili, but it works perfectly over spaghetti or hot dogs. I only didn't give this a perfect score as sometimes it gets very busy and they seem to have trouble with managing the extended area during those periods. “Another Cincinnati hometown favorite. Our Bridgetown location certainly needs some work. The parking lot is beyond repair and dangerous. There is always food on the floor under the tables. Your not sure if today's meal will be steaming hot or like warm. Some food prep people need hair nets as one employee has long hair that is left hanging loosely as she prepared your food. Certainly has to be a health board issue. Apparently she is the only one not required to secure her locks properly.“
