Our coffees were never even the slightest bit empty they were always full. Our waters were always full. She put up with our somewhat fussy order with a smile and made it come out wonderfully. I just wanted you guys to know that you have a fantastic employee that went above and beyond To make a strangers experience fantastic I had never been there before and would highly recommend the restaurant based on my experience because of the waitress!! “Gracious! Visited this bakery today and was completely blown away. I am a home baker and make a mean chocolate chip cookie. Low key, kinda famous. That said, I bought a small sampling of items today with a big as yo face chocolate chip cookie with both white and chocolate chips. Seriously, best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had! From the warm welcome and kind service to the homey surroundings, don't miss out on this little gem! I can't wait to go back!“

“This is simply the best coffee shop you'll ever find. The coffee baristas put time into these drinks, and the result is amazing flavor. Also, the place has an awesome vibe. We are lucky we can walk here. It's a great place to read, work, chill, or have conversation. If it's sunny, we sit on the patio. If it's rainy or cold, we sit by the fireplace upstairs. It makes the whole city more of a Hallmark town.

“Stopped at Winans while in Dayton on Monday. Decided to enjoy the day walking around the city and found this lovely cafe. The atmosphere, staff, and options were outstanding. I enjoyed the best spiced chai latte I have ever had. If I lived in Dayton, I would be here often. I plan to make this a stop anytime I’m in the area.“

“With all due respect, this particular store needs to get its act together! It is close to my office, the food is good, and so I go there (usually carry-out) at least once a week. However, in the last month, I have had my order screwed up three times! I am certain I am not unique, so how many other orders get screwed up? In the last month, I have had to return twice, once because the baguette was not included and today, because I didn’t have salad dressing. (Because of the prior incidents, I even checked that I had the correct salad before I left the store—didn’t think I had to look to see if I had salad dressing!). The other time was when I dined in, and received the wrong salad. I didn’t complain then. I’ve been to this store many, many times in the past and have never once had an incorrect order. Three times in a month—I would have to point my finger at management for lack of training, lack of quality control, or perhaps other issues. I have to wonder how many other customers have had issues with their orders, didn’t complain, and won’t be coming back.“

“Carly and Matt are fantastic at welcoming customers! From the moment you walk in their bright and positive attitude brightens your day. I love coming in when they are working because it could definitely improve the day with their positive energy.

Of course the food is good and we know that already. People are what sets this business apart. I enjoy getting my drink with the sip club and I’m trying to get a taste of many things across the menu. Both Carly and Matt have made some excellent suggestions recently that turned out very good.
