“Went here last night for the first time, had never even heard of it before. But we were driving down the highway and it stood out to us! Got sat immediately around 7:30 on a Sunday. Our waitress Angel was very knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant and informed us on the menu as well! Service was excellent. We started with the crab spinach dip and it was phenomenal! Then for my entree I got the bacon wrapped jalapeño shrimp over dirty rice and it was exceptional! My fiancé got the seafood pasta (dont remember the exact name) and he says it was great as well. My strawberry margarita was tall and delicious. We had a wonderful experience and will be making our way back!“

“Love coming to this Long John's Silver! When my family wants fried fish this is our go to. They have the perfect size family meals and the hush puppies are always a family pleaser!! There is a lady at the drive through window, everytime I've had her she makes the ordering process so easy. I was literally stuck on ordering a side of 3 shrimp and she gave me an offer of 15 for 10. If you know their prices, than you know that was a deal. Thats what I love to see when I go to restaurants and that is amazing service. Its truly the little things that count for me. Nothing but great things about this place!“

“We celebrated our 10-year olds birthday at Jag’s last night. The staff went above and beyond to make sure it was a night our family will not forget. It started with us arriving to a lovely set table with a bouquet of balloons for the birthday boy. He was wished happy birthday from what seemed like the entire staff. He definitely felt special. The Chef even came out from the kitchen, wished our son a happy birthday, and made sure our food was delicious. Our server was Danielle and she was a rockstar. I can not say enough amazing things about her. Request her EVERY TIME YOU DINE AT JAG’S!!!! She was helpful, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. “The quality of the seafood was surprisingly good, especially considering we're in the middle of Ohio. Everything tasted fresh, and the seafood itself seemed to be high quality.
The service was incredibly fast, which is impressive for a seafood boil restaurant. However, I can't help but wonder if that speed comes at the expense of flavor. The seasoning was good, but it didn't seem like the seafood had much time to marinate, so it wasn't as rich or infused as I've had at other seafood boil spots.
My biggest criticism is the value. For the price, I expected a little more flavor and overall experience. It wasn't a bad meal by any means, and I'd be willing to come back, but there are seafood boil restaurants that deliver a more memorable meal for a similar price.
If you're looking for fresh seafood with quick service, it's worth trying. Just keep your expectations reasonable when it comes to the depth of flavor and overall value.“

“It was early on a weekday, so my partner and I were seated quickly. Once we ordered, the food came quick relative to when they are busy. We got refills on our drinks before our glasses were empty, and the staff overall were great! They were having a good time and laughing and making jokes in the back about each other and things going on in the world. Happy staff is usually a good sign. Our food was absolutely amazing. “Have been going here few times every year - food was always pretty good and the price was not over the top... I like they combined the Thai and Indian restaurants together and you can now mix both cuisines from the same table (seating was just 4-5 small tables at Ravis before). And glad the food is equally good no matter which cuisine. You can sit anywhere you want but recommend the Thai side to the right which seems to be more upscale although it's the same waiting staff who btw were pretty quick (after they combined, went once for a weekday lunch and recently for a weekday dinner).
Noting that there are a LOT more tables between the two places now (30?)- so I can see how they could get overloaded during peak times unless they have more than 2 waiters? And they are good folks - don't expect it to be like a corporate run place.“
