“Went here last night for the first time, had never even heard of it before. But we were driving down the highway and it stood out to us! Got sat immediately around 7:30 on a Sunday. Our waitress Angel was very knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant and informed us on the menu as well! Service was excellent. We started with the crab spinach dip and it was phenomenal! Then for my entree I got the bacon wrapped jalapeño shrimp over dirty rice and it was exceptional! My fiancé got the seafood pasta (dont remember the exact name) and he says it was great as well. “We celebrated our 10-year olds birthday at Jag’s last night. The staff went above and beyond to make sure it was a night our family will not forget. It started with us arriving to a lovely set table with a bouquet of balloons for the birthday boy. He was wished happy birthday from what seemed like the entire staff. He definitely felt special. The Chef even came out from the kitchen, wished our son a happy birthday, and made sure our food was delicious. Our server was Danielle and she was a rockstar. I can not say enough amazing things about her. Request her EVERY TIME YOU DINE AT JAG’S!!!! She was helpful, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Thank YOU Jag’s staff, for providing our son with his best birthday yet.“

“Stepping into The Lonely Pine is like being transported to an eclectic, chic, 70’s western in the absolute BEST way possible. We were each greeted at the host stand with a tasting of sparkling Cava. Our server was absolutely exceptional – so personable with extensive knowledge of the menu & history. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef/Owner Maddy Sheblessy, which was very cool – I’ve heard so many good things & it was nice to finally meet her.

To start the meal, we shared the signature poutine. It has the perfect amount of heat & features local cheese curds. In between bites I sipped on the Dame Prue – the perfect summer cocktail (& everyone’s favorite Brit). For my entree I enjoyed the petite filet with horseradish cream (buttery soft with a little heat – perfection), my husband had the Route 66 Burger (neither of us are big fans of pimento cheese, but this burger changed our minds), & we shared the seasonal veg (rainbow chard – a nice, light accompaniment).

I eventually moved onto another cocktail – the on the grind martini – & was pleasantly surprised at the delicious coffee (not everywhere does it right!). We polished off the meal with the seasonal chef special – a dulce de leche tres leches cake – & My. Goodness. It’s impossible not to smile while you eat this. It’s indulgent, it’s decadent, & it was the perfect ending to our meal.“

“The BEST veggie burger i have ever had in my entire life. I’m an outsider and am here in Cinci visiting family. I was a little weary coming to a beef joint as I can’t eat red meat due to chemotherapy. (Ironic, I know). The owners went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that they were able to segregate my burger from the red meat and clean the grill to the best of their ability. I did not have a reaction other than “when can I come back!”. The house made ranch and ketchup were so tasty, I’d almost be willing to sneak it on the plane to come home with me. I 10/10 recommend this place.“

“My family and I was there today to celebrate my mothers birthday, we ABSOLUTELY loved the food them ribs are to die for, however the memorable part was our server Tonya, I think I’m saying her name right, she was AMAZING I mean she engaged with my mom and son like if she was apart of the Family and THAT took us right away, the only downside was by the time we had received our drinks she was no longer our server which REALLY upset my mother, However the new server was nice she just wasn’t her,,, we LOVE the spot and enjoyed the whole atmosphere and my mother and Family DEFINITELY will be back we just hope that we run into that server Tonya again!!! “I have been missing samosas, biriyani and dal mahkani since I was in Owings Mills, MD. I am a veggie samosa regular, so I decided to go during lunch hours. I was very pleasantly surprised with the portion AND price. Lovepreet was so kind and broke down everything for me so I could know what to expect. As I saw, my chicken biryani sans nuts and raisins was AMAZING. The chicken was a tiny bit dry...but still tasty. She explained the different ways I could have it prepared. The dal makhani was my FAVORITE. FLAVORFUL, FLAVORFUL, FLAVORFUL. I mixed with with my biriyani, had half a samosa (they are huge but you get 2) and will be back to dine in. I love supporting my Desi brothers and sisters and I live nice and close.“
