“Best Mexican around, a little pricey but worth it. The ground beef is actually seasoned & has a lot of flavor, unlike every other Mexican restaurant. They have great guacamole but it is like $12, so it's VERY expensive. That being said, it tastes great, but it's way cheaper to make the same thing at home.They barely put any cheese on their tacos. I always order extra cheese on them & I still can barely find any cheese on them. Thankfully I always order cheese dip, so I end up having to use that on my tacos. Kind of annoying.Update: I took a star away because their take-out/online ordering service needs some serious work. I ordered two tacos for myself & only received one. I mostly wanted to just eat chips with salsa, guacamole & cheese dip (I even ordered a large cheese & large guac). They only gave us a TINY bag of chips, smaller than any other Mexican restaurant would give. Why couldn't they give us a normal size bag? Needless to say, I ate one taco & a handful of chips & was still left hungry. :(“

“I don't understand the negative reviews for this restaurant they have excellent food it's quick delicious and they even carried the food out to my car for me I asked him if I would pull up to the front of the restaurant would they please bring out my food and that's all I asked they said yes to call back when I'm in front of the store I didn't tell them that I was handicapped or anything and they had no problem with bringing my food out to my car I recommend this restaurant to each and everybody here in the Cuyahoga Falls area please ignore any of the negative remarks that have been posted in regards to this restaurant the food is fantastic and the workers there are excellent“

“Ken Stewart's is my Canton/Akron go do when I need a great meal without risk of disappointment. So many great options both for apps and main dish. And must get the French Onion Soup and Table side Caesar I eat out a lot and this is my fave !“

“Food is quite delicious and the oysters the one's I consumed were fresh. Service is ok. Maybe a bit more friendly. I'm not a regular though. Ambiance is a bit distracting and different music can be a bit loud. I've only been there a few times. However I do continue to go back. Check it out for yourself. I would say it's worth it.“

“My two daughters, grand daughter and I went to DeJuan's on Saturday 4/27/24 for my birthday dinner. Our reservation was at 8pm. First time going there. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was delightful. I had the shrimp scampi and daughters had salmon. This is definitely on our list of favorites. We had a pleasant surprise, we had to wait a little bit longer for our food due to other big parties (no big deal to us), however the management came to our booth and apologized for the slight delay and took care of the whole bill for the night. We did not have to pay a dime. WOW!. We have been to other restaurants but never received such pleasant service. On top of such wonderful gesture, I was given a signature glass as a birthday gift. KUDOS to Erica, Tracy and our server Navel (i hope i spelled it right). We thank you sincerely for making our day. We will definitely come back again.“

“I've been telling my family that this is my favorite restaurant for the last two years. I finally got to take my dad here. He tried the veal scallopini and loved it. He said wow with every bite. I love trying their specials every month. There is a reason why this place is always packed and why I keep returning. It's amazing.“

“Small and cozy with excellent food. The service was excellent. I had the fish fry and my wife had a pear salad with Salmon. The Salmon was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The food was all presented nicely on the plates, especially the dessert. Definitely will go back.“

“Only thing which is only minor was all the food was thrown or put away almost 2hrs before the posted closed time of 11pm. Very understandable if business is slowed, so definitely not a knock as they still did accommodate us and fresh hot plantains as well. Only suggest fixing hours on Google or something on profile to state such as a heads up. Other than that blessings an get the food bussin.“

“We went to the Wise Guys Lounge on a whim, and we were not disappointed. We got the French onion soup, duck wings, Shrimp Scampies, and Tuscan mussels. The service was great and the food was even better. We had a great experience here and we will be back for sure. Ps. The tiramisu is to die for.“

“My wife and I drove 55 minutes to this restaurant. We heard about it in a Gluten free group. She had the Gluten free Oyster platter, I had the Oyster PoBoy. They bother were amazing. I know it was a seasonal menu, but I was impressed with the PoBoy. Most places put a powerful sauce that overpowered the taste of the main ingredient. “I started coming here for the hibachi when they first opened and it’s always been great! The flavor, portion, and price can’t be beat. Their egg rolls are THE BEST and we’ve never been disappointed by anything we’ve tried there.This time we went I was undecided on what to get and the server recommended I try the pho. “Best Mexican food in the area, hands down. My wife and I are from Colorado and we’re spoiled by amazing Mexican food. We were depressed by the lack of good options (including margs!) in NE Ohio, until we found Don Patron. Top shelf margs are the real deal, food is amazing (Chile Colorado is my favorite) and very reasonably priced, and the service is amazing. The staff is so nice and welcoming. We love this place.“

“After driving past this dining gem on S Main for years, wondering if we'd enjoy the place, we stopped in this past Saturday at around 4PM to get a late afternoon meal. We were seated almost immediately in a spotless booth with soft lighting, provided menus with an endless array of offerings, and asked for our beverage order. Suffice it to say we were impressed by the immediate service given to us by Felicia, and her ability to make us feel welcomed! The bleucheese burger we shared was perfect, French fries were very hot and crispy, and the house salad was accompanied by two house-made dressings, a creamy white French and a balsamic...both were outstanding, and the servings were enough to provide dipping sauces for the fries. We believe we have found the neighborhood tavern we've been seeking since moving to Akron in 2018! Sure, the burger prices were a bit high, but in keeping with the disastrous economic times. Super neighborhood spot for dining, libations, and tv viewing. And the friendly staff is the icing on the cake, actually on the incredibly sinfully deeelicious bread pudding!“

“Great mexican restaurant in Akron! We constantly stop in for drinks and bites to eat and are pleasantly surprised every time! The queso is absolutely delicious!! My go to margarita is the raspberry marg on the rocks! The strawberry is good too but sometimes too sweet for my taste! The workers are tentative and quick! It is family owned business and we have enjoyed getting to know every member! there is lots of seatings for large groups and they accommodate them well!“

“The food is really good at Chowder House. The entrees are over priced. My husband ordered the cioppino and there was very little there and it was very expensive. More than it should cost for the quantity - and more than it would cost in other restaurants for the same quantity/quality. The seafood pappardelle is very good and very rich - a little goes a long way. The service isn't great. Nearly every time a server walked by our table one of them bumped my chair. Maybe they're trying to squeeze too many tables in. With a few tweaks this good be a really good place. If I go back I will get two apps and leave it at that. Maybe we were there on a mediocre night. It's probably worth a try.“

“Visited on a Saturday evening. First time there and our waitress Stephanie was amazing as she explained how to order the boil and seasoning and spice level. The result was perfect! I am also kinda new to sushi and she also recommended 2 perfect options. The place was clean, ambiance nice, parking convenient and price was in line with what i would expect. This will definitely be a stop when we are downtown Akron in the future. Oh and the drink selection was very good also if that is your thing.“

It is not somewhere we take our kids because they aren't into seafood and would get some basic fried food which isn't worth it in our opinion. The gems are the boils. We typically get the head off shrimp + lobster tail boils, my husband adds sausage to his. It costs around $36 each but is two meals for each of us. Hot tip, make some noodles, and turn your leftovers into a pasta dish with the amazing sauce/seasoning!It has not been very busy when we go, but the servers are a little absent. Never seem to get water refills.Parking: Huge free lot in the shopping center.“

“The tacos here are average. There's not a lot of flavor. What I do like is they have a little bar of salsas so you can get whatever salsa you want and as much of it as you want. What I don't like are the corn chips they're pretty flavorless. In addition the staff is subpar on friendliness.“

“I only give 3 for atmosphere because the taco truck just posted up, and we took it home to eat.Food was delicioso ? por supuesto.Took about 10 minutes because it was made to order and very fresh. Guacamole was soooo fresh and flavorful. I got the birria tacos and the birria sauce was a little too salty, but still yummy.
