I always feel comfortable coming here unlike other small town restaurants I've been to where I feel like a total outsider and am treated like I'm intruding. I live near 1 that's only about a mile away that's like that as well as 1 that is right down the road from 109. I will gladly drive the nearly 20 minutes to visit 109 diner when I could go less than 5 to the diner near me. That's how important it is to feel welcomed at a restaurant!“

“Went out to eat at the Whitehouse Inn ... my bill was $23.16. I gave him $40.00.... should have gotten back 16.84. I would have left him a $5.00 tip. But he brought me back $7.00. Got that???? So I went straight into the kitchen and found him. He knew ASAP and I said I gave you $40.00 and showed him the 7.00 he immediately gave me $10.00. So just to be nice the I gave him $2.66 tip. Watch your change back on cash customers... It was a male with black hair and about 45 years old maybe.“

“We do go here often. We love the smoked wings and the giant pretzel. Our waitresses have usally been great, however our last visit we just stopped for drinks and they gave us a table. The waitress asked if we would go up to the bar to get our drinks so that the bartender would get the tips. We agreed to that. We had 1 drink then they switched bar tenders and went to get another drink and the bartender was visiting a table in the dining area while we stood at the bar waiting for a drink. She finally came up to the bar after quite some time and started helping the customers who were seated at the bar, so we left. It was kinda rude as we waited all that time standing where they told us to order and she proceeded to not even take our order.“
