“Our waiter Jackson was excellent from the time we arrived at our table until the time we left; I can't say enough good things gs about him. Overall our food was good, but I was disappointed in the pork chop dinner, which I have ordered many times in the past. This time the pork chop was thin , about 1/2 the thickness as usual. As such. It was also overcooked as thinner pork chops are difficult to cook. Otherwise, our food and drinks were great, but I do think the current pork chop size needs to be looked into.“

“My husband and I went to Maisano's for the first time today after seeing a video on Facebook about their mozzarella sticks. We traveled an hour and 15 minutes to get there and it was definitely worth it! The atmosphere was appealing and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We ordered the lasagna, mozzarella sticks and arancini balls. Everything was delicious and brought back memories of my italian grandma's cooking. They did offer lunch and dinner size portions, the lunch size was plenty for us. They brought us warm Italian bread and had oil at the table. They do offer multiple Italian desserts, we were too full to try them but I'm sure they were fantastic. I would have no issues driving this distance again as we thoroughly enjoyed our experience!“

The salad is always fresh and the white French dressing is to die for…especially with a sprinkle of blue cheese. My favorites are the walleye and scrod. If you haven’t been there, don’t miss this local gem.“

“Great food and service. Steak cooked perfectly. Excellent Walleye. Husband said best he has ever had. Hostesses were very friendly and our server James was very helpful and knowledgeable. The atmosphere on the bar side is what you would expect but not overly noisy, and although the restaurant has upscale food and service it was comfortably casual. I would recommend reservations, especially if you want a booth, but were able to walk in on a Friday and get a two-top in the bar.“

“Just ate here for the first time with my husband and 3 kids. Everything was great until the end where a couple mistakes were made. I had forgotten to grab our leftover boxes and by the time we turned around to get them, they had been thrown away. The staff and manager went above and beyond to correct the mistake (and deal with an over-emotional mom). Im very grateful for the way they handled the situation. Will definitely be going back (and remembering to grab our leftovers lol).“

I had a NY steak strip and my husband the veal parmigiana. For desert we had the lemon tort cake. For being a very busy night, everything was better than expected! We will be back :)“

“We learned this evening that Parasson’s has pulled from their menu the Italian Wedding Soup and Chicken Alfredo. The owner stated his father didn’t have Alfredo on the menu and he isn’t either. As far as the wedding soup, the explanation given was simply, the kitchen runs out of soup at the most inconvenient times. However, our waitress said if enough request to bring the soup back, it will be brought back. BRING BACK THE WEDDING SOUP!!“

“The first time me, and my family have been to Danny Boys was this past Sunday. We loved the atmosphere, and the friendly folks there. The menu is 🔥! We had the Honey Bee Pizza, and our daughter had a children's cheese pizza. Let me just say, The Honey Bee never had a chance once we dug in. We ate the whole thing! I highly recommend it! The next time we go, we're going to give the Original Clevelander a go! I would also like to give a shout out to Cicily! She was so kind, and exceptional at her job! She helped make our first visit a fantastic one. We look forward to next time, and If you haven't ever been. Give Danny Boys a try. You won't be disappointed!“

“I was there today for a luncheon with my widows group. I ordered the 4 pc mixed chicken with jojo’s and salad bar. Everything was good and our server, Christine, was awesome. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce to go for my home bound husband. I was disappointed that it did not come with bread nor salad. I didn’t have much time to check the prices but was a little shocked when my total bill was $31.70. Since you do not offer an item receipt, I have no way of checking the individual pricing. I will definitely check the menu more closely next time.“

“This has been my favorite restaurant since I was a kid. I live out of town now but try to stop in every time I'm in town! My kids love it too and they are picky eaters so extra bonus points for that! My favorite is their rigatoni and meat sauce. They also just put a small splash of sauce on and serve it with a side of sauce so you can always have the right amount you like!! My only complaint is they are not open 7 days a week ;)“

“This was a neat place to grab a bite to eat. It serves light breakfast items, lunch, and dinner. It has a full bar as well. After you are seated, you have to go to the register to place your order. There is coffee at the entrance when you enter. Service was pleasant, and the food came out quickly. It is a little pricy for lunch. For 2 people, we paid $82 for a specialty burger, shrimp and grits, devil eggs, and non-alcoholic drinks.“

One place that caught our attention was the Spaghetti Warehouse in Akron, located right next to the University of Akron. We decided to go there as a way to celebrate two special milestones—our daughter moving into her dorm and our son starting 7th grade. The moment we walked in, we were struck by the restaurant’s unique, nostalgic decor. It has an old boardwalk theme, complete with vintage arcade machines like the claw game and a love tester, which both my kids and my wife enjoyed. It gave the place a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. We were greeted and seated by our server, Jackie, who was fantastic throughout our visit. She was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. Unfortunately, while looking over the menu, we noticed several items that were listed but not actually available, which was disappointing. For food, my wife chose to build her own spaghetti with the Pomodoro sauce—a blend of marinara and Alfredo—and she really enjoyed it. She also had the house salad with ranch, which she said was fresh and flavorful. My son built his own spaghetti with meat sauce and two meatballs, and he loved his meal as well. I decided on the 15-layer lasagna, which the menu described as “incredible.” Sadly, I didn’t feel the same—it looked a little burnt, tasted chewy, and reminded me more of a frozen lasagna than something freshly made. Overall, the food was hit-or-miss. My wife and son enjoyed their meals, while mine was underwhelming. The service, however, was excellent, and Jackie really made the experience more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a family-friendly spot with a fun atmosphere and decent spaghetti, Spaghetti Warehouse isn’t a bad choice. Just be prepared for a few menu inconsistencies and don’t expect every dish to live up to the hype.“

“Searching for a dine in pizza place, my friends and I called ahead and asked if they had dine in seating. We were advised they did but were dismayed when we arrived. The 3 tiny tables appeared to be just for decoration. Not inviting at all, but we were hungry. We ordered garlic cheese bread, which was very tasty, and the crust was crispy. I had a personal size cheese pizza, and my friends shared a sausage pepperoni.
One of my friends thought the sauce had a bit of a sour taste to it. I liked my cheese pizza, which had plenty of cheese and a thick crispy crust. My friends ordered thin crust, but this crust was almost like phyllo dough. We noticed they had a sign that said it was voted Cleavand's favorite pizza. I would say they bought all the votes.“
