“Had breakfast there yesterday with my family. Management and staff were very friendly and efficient.. manager is friendly and such a kind guy. I felt as if I was in a small town as we struck up a conversation with the booth next to ours. My son and wife had a wonderful burger and fries with a old fashioned real scooped milkshake and I had the most delicious ham and cheese omelet . I can’t say enough good things about the experience. 5 star’s! Cant wait to come back!“

“It’s been a very long time since I received great service, so this is worth sharing We set out for a causal anniversary dinner and ended up at Tupelo Honey. They seated us without a reservation and our server was the sweetest person I’ve ever encountered. At the end of our meal she brought us each a free dessert for our anniversary. This is typical for most places, but the dessert came with a card signed by the entire staff 🥰🥰🥰 They also sent us home with Tupelo Honey pint glasses. Such a sweet gesture and keepsakes. “I started working in the area about 6 months ago and I love mom and pop diners for lunch. Since I have visited Scotty's Cafe I have been eating lunch here every day (literally 5 days a week), you can't beat the atmosphere the food is amazing and the owners are definitely one of a kind. Gina and Scotty make you feel like one of the family,the staff is amazing,and you always look forward to your next visit. Definitely a 10 out of 10 every visit.“

“We are from Kentucky and were in Columbus for a concert. I’ve always wanted to try a place that has been featured on Triple D, and this was the best decision ever! High Bank exceeded all expectations! We left with a full belly and A bottle of whiskey to remember them by. Food was incredible. Service was incredible. “Every single time we have visited has been nothing less than wonderful. The environment is always welcoming, the servers are so friendly, the food is always perfection. We don’t get to visit often as it’s a bit of a drive, but are so grateful to have Portia’s when we have some extra time. Portia herself is quite an amazing person. I think she’s just a doll 🤗“

“Amazing service! I have a food allergy and asked if one of their sandwiches contained the ingredient. They went above and beyond to try to figure out if the food contained the ingredient and came out and talked to me about why the food was taking extra time. They couldn't find if the ingredient was in the contents, even after calling and texting and so I ordered something different. When my food was delivered, it had already been paid for. Very kind people and amazing service.“

“pros and cons. CONS.. If you were to base your visit on first checking out the cleanliness of the bathrooms before you eat, you'd turn around and leave. The men's room in the basement needs so much work and the multiple colonies of gnats was like visiting the basement of college kids from a party and cans and spilled beer have never been cleaned up. Horrible condition. The ladies refused to even look at theirs. Booths are small and tight. Definitely an old building, but it's kind of cool with its history. PROS... Those were some really really good burgers. Wife got the Ali and I got the Old School. Burgers are huge and easily splitable. We tried this after friends suggested the burgers and we were not disappointed. Onion rings were too greasy for us, but the fries and homemade chips were great. Alll and all, it's definitely an option to eat again when in town.“

With wide-open seating, tree-covered areas, and cozy hanging lights, the vibe was equal parts romantic and relaxed. 💫 The beer selection? Exactly what you want in a neighborhood brewery—a perfect variety of drinkable, staple brews that suit all tastes. On a hot summer evening though, I would’ve loved to see a frosted glass option—the beer warmed up a little too fast for my liking. We ordered the giant pretzel, which definitely delivered on size! The beer cheese was decent, but we were hoping for a bit more creativity or a “mystery dip” option to spice it up. Also… just give us one good cup of cheese with it instead of making everyone upgrade for a second portion. Small thing, but it stood out. As the sun set, the whole place started to feel like something out of a movie. Couples celebrating engagements, friends laughing over cornhole in the corner, and a casual, easy energy. The only thing missing? Some live music, especially for a Saturday night. 🎶 We found ourselves lost in conversation… time honestly stood still. It felt both lively and private, which is a rare combo these days. If I had one other piece of feedback, it’d be for a slightly bigger food menu and maybe a kiddo cut-off time around 7 PM, just so the evening crowd can fully settle into adult mode. “Tiny, tiny spot in Clintonville best suited for drinks to-go. The coffee is very good, I had a lovely flat white which was textured well and had a robust flavor. The menu is limited, I believe it’s all a one man operation. I was surprised by the line out the door on a Friday at 10:30AM. The barista is very friendly and struck up a conversation with every customer while he made their drink. It was fun to watch him make the drinks, I’ve never seen an espresso set up quite like what he had going.“

“Such a wonderful experience! I ordered a maple spice latte and a pumpkin spice latte with Sarah and she was very sweet and helpful! I love the inclusivity of the shop, everyone was very nice and helpful. I wish all coffee shops had this happy atmosphere.
