“Went in to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff who helped us knew it was her bday, it was mentioned 3-4 times which was cool! Happy hour before dinner was nice, drinks were very good. Bar staff was kind. Dinner service was great, food was delicious. Spent 2.5 hours there or so and enjoyed my evening with the wife!“

“We went in for our anniversary dinner as we heard that their sushi is amazing. Its not the place to go, if you want to have a quiet dinner, with some romatic music but it is lively and happening. It has very nice view, as its name suggests. And the service is top class. Our waitress did a wonderful job in attending to our needs. They accomodated us really well and I would most definately go back to try rest of the food and drinks soon. Props to my amazing bartender for dealing with my questions.Fish is fresh, service is impeccable, quality and freshness of the ingredients and attention to detail was amazing. I was even informed that my saba sashmi was fresh cut that morning. You could easily get an amazing experience for less than 30. But you could blow yourself away for less than 50 bucks. I ordered chu toro tuna and saba sashimi and the fish came out tender, served at a correct temperature, and almost melt in your mouth good with absolutely no off tastes and smells. Authentic wasabi is served here as well.This is the best sushi place in Ohio, period. The vibe itself is a low entry, casual, pleasant experience. You could easily come in dressed in casual or go all out. Reservations are taken and probably recommended but I was sat at the bar with a party of 4 on a Saturday afternoon almost immediately.“

“Akai Hana brings a fresh, authentic taste to dining in Columbus. We were welcomed by not only a wonderful staff, but also a signed picture of one of our favorite baseball players, Munenori Kawasaki. “I have been ordering takeout here for the last decade, usually the same order. The beef pad Thai with shrimp for an extra $5. They give you so much shrimp, and the shrimp are good sized. You get good value here. The food isn't authentic but it's enjoyable enough.“

“Oshio has a good range of menu. We ordered the flagship titanic set for a special birthday dinner, plus many other dishes. The sushi had many varieties of fish, which impressed my Japanese Mrs. Agedashi tofu, calamari, crispy rice, and other dishes were all yummy. Stone bibimbab was also tasty, according to the Korean friends, but the pot wasn’t sizzling. This is understandable, since it may be dangerous to the uninitiated.“

I recommend the Asian peach cocktail in particular.While our waitress was very kind, she waited to take our order until the two alcoholic beverages we ordered came to our table, but because it took a while to get our drinks, it meant waiting even longer for our food. She didn't check up on us very often either. She was always willing to get what we needed though.“

“This cute little restaurant ( take out only?) is in the Japan market place. I walked in- the staff was very sweet, and helpful. She helped me choosing the sushi rolls to order. I got two rolls for our dinner. Both the sushi rolls were fresh, tasty and with top ingredients. They took almost 25 minutes to get the stuff ready. I was waiting outside and once done she called me and I picked up. Super easy! I don’t mind waiting even longer if the food is freshly made, with all things fresh inside. Highly recommended!“

I have tried an obnoxious amount of their rolls and have only not fallen completely in love with one of them (sorry to the volcano roll)It does often feel as though they are understaffed. “Not bad, the delivery failed, GrubHub delivered our food to someone else, and then went back and delivered it back to us, but they gave us a credit, so so we got it late last night. Had it for lunch, had for lunch. The wings were excellent. They come a garlic on them and they were just really good even reheated. The was OK. I liked the role with the salmon on top of the best.
