Chinese Restaurants near Urbana

“So I read all the reviews of this place and was slightly concerned. Im not sure what transpired here in the past, but here is what I can tell you. The Food is awesome and exactly what you expect from Chinese food/takeout. I see a lot of complaints about the people being rude, i think there is a language barrier/ cultural difference. The people aren’t rude, they just act how every single asian American immigrant I've ever met act. They say thanks when you pick up your order so I’m not sure what the issue may have been. think they are hard working and just trying to survive here. I think maybe a few Karen’s got bent out of shape and wrote some bad reviews. I got the orange chicken and the general tso’s which both have great flavor. The crab rangoons and the egg rolls both are great and tasty. The rangoons arent overly sweet like some places but have a good flavor profile. I have been craving this place ever since we got it for the first time. 10/10 would recommend. My new favorite dinner spot“

“I cannot say enough amazing words about Carol and Mayflowers! We are always blown away by the quality of food and great prices from this seemingly hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant! I always get the crab rangoons (HIGHLY recommend) and my husband always gets the hot and sour soup with our entrees. If you haven't been to Mayflowers, make it a point to change that!
