“We went today for our first time for the Sunday brunch special and oh. my. goodness. They had everything you could want. Breakfast included quiche, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, kielbasa and eggs. Also pancakes and Belgian waffles. Brunch had homemade mac n cheesecake which was some of the best ive ever had. Turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, prime rib, ham. I mean i was literally in heaven. But the star of the show was definitely the turkey and the mac n cheese. Absolutely amazing. This is our new spot forsure ❤️“

“We had a birthday party here with about 30 people. Kim was so helpful and kind with the planning process. On the actually night, all our guests had delicious meals with fast service. Our waitresses were efficient and friendly the whole time. All the food is amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. This has become one of my favorite places to eat downtown. Go visit them, you won't be sorry! Fantastic food!“

“Eclectic decor in a super cool old building that was the first building in Downtown Toledo to be wired for electricity! Wow we sent our compliments to the chef, everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. “We always have a good meal at Culver's. Their Butter Burgers are the smashburger type, so I recommend getting a double. Our food is always hot and fresh and their custard is delicious. So smooth and rich. The staff is consistently friendly.“

“Chef Erika Rapp never disappoints and every visit to this wonderful restaurant reaffirms it as my favorite place for our Anniversary dinner. I look forward to the coconut, chorizo and sweet potato steamed muscles that she has had on the fall menu consistently for the last 5 years. And being Gluten Free the care Chef Erika takes to offer many delicious options, means I can always find the perfect meal. Last night the fish dish was perfection, from the perfectly cooked cod, to the savory and slightly sweet delicata squash puree to the textural elements of the crisp broccolini and the crunch of the pomagranate and pepitas. And the dish paired wonderfully with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. After enjoying a basket of gluten free pop-overs (another favorite treat) and appetizers I was stuffed, but the dish was too delicious to leave even one bite on the plate. Our server Miranda was fabulous. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and added so much to our dining experience. I highly reccommend.“

I cant afford it everyday but I literally crave it everyday. I love their egg, cheese and sausage on wheat toast with jelly.“

The table was set up so we could easily converse with each other, and that can be difficult with a large party. I have always enjoyed the garbage salad and it did not disappoint. “Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!

“Went here tonight to celebrate my birthday. It's over an hour away from home but definitely worth the drive ! Food was fantastic! Bought some sausage to take home ,it was that good!“

“We visited on a Monday in mid-April 2025 for lunch.

This was a typical zoo restaurant. It's a grab and go. There are prepared foods on the side, both hot and cold. There are customizable stuff behind the counter and made to order. Expect it to be overpriced.

The loaded mac and cheese wasn't bad. The young lady behind the counter was making it for us when an older man (who I assume to be a manager) walked by and told her she was putting TOO much toppings in the mac and cheese so she stopped mid scoop with the bacon.

We got chicken tenders and fries which were both fine. We also got the prepared cobb salad. The lettuce on top looked fine but once we opened it and dug deeper, the lettuce were the harder and thicker stalks and more discolored. We still ate it because we were hungry but it did not look super fresh or maybe the salad sat too long in the back before packing it.

We also got the chocolate pudding and the jello. We all agreed the gummy worms in the chocolate pudding had a weird taste and off putting. The texture was also strange and unfortunately a lot of the flavor had leached into the pudding. The jello however was fine and those gummies were normal.

Condiments you grab on your own, self serve.

Cashier was nice and asked if we had membership, which we did and gave us the additional discount. It's nice when they ask because I forget sometimes with all the craziness going on.

The restaurant it self wasn't packed but there were 4 or 5 other groups in there with us. The place also was very clean and new looking. Not sure when this placed opened or renovated but it was very clean and modern. There are no tables to eat inside so we went outside to find a seat. There were no tables in the Kid's play place or neighborhood area so we walked around to where the hippo statues were to eat.

Even though the zoo website says no outside food, we were never searched and I swear almost EVERYONE we saw at the picnic tables had brought food in. Maybe it was locals who knew vs tourist. You can always leave and eat food in your car but it's just so inconvenient.“

“Their personal chicken bacon ranch pizza is probably the best chicken bacon ranch pizza I've tasted in years that is what I am having today you normally I get one of their amazing baskets the customer service is beyond words definitely keeps me a regular customer but this pizza is a must buy“

“Service and meal were excellent. Seated at a small table against the window with curtains encroaching my space. Candle was nice but flower loop around it made the small table more cluttered. It would be best to pull the table away from the curtain and minimize any additional decorations to allow more comfortable space...slightly larger tables or pull them away from the wall would also provide less cramped experience“

“My brother and I visited this diner today after seeing a YouTube review. Food was excellent. Large and expansive menu with breakfast, burgers, chicken sandwiches, as well as other standard diner fare. Some very unique burger and sandwich combinations for the daring and adventurous. Very unique diner design with tons of Americana nostalgia of the 50s and 60s including old license plates, concert promos, and all kinds of celebrity photos. Staff was so friendly and engaging making the experience that much more worthwhile. Definitely worth a visit!!“

“Excellent, excellent excellent!! I haven't been to Frisch's in a very long time and I know the chain is struggling as open times and drive through changes each week. This is a long ago favorite restaurant of mine and I recently moved back to the area after a 30 year absence. I am saddened to see it struggling. But yet stay the good and friendly place of my memories. Food was good, service kind and friendly and facility clean well maintained inside and out. Kudos to all who work hard to obtain this quality.“

“A sweet waitress went way above and beyond her duty, My husband, I and our two friends went in to Waters Edge Restaurant, my husband and our friends ordered, I ask if they had milk shakes because I told her I’m having problems swallowing food down, the food won’t go down. She said so sorry we don’t have milk shakes so I just ordered a root beer to drink while everyone ate (it’s ok though) our sweet waitress whipped up milk with ice whip cream and made me a milk shake with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top. Brought me a big cup. I said oh wow! I love you thank you!! She said it complementary. She made my day how thoughtful and sweet of her to care so much about another person’s problems and health issues. The food looked delicious my husband and our two friends said it was. Thank you!
