“My family visited from out of town late on a Saturday night and received excellent service and phenomenal food. I believe our server’s name was Laura and she was sweet and attentive and took the time to chat with my daughter. My husband tried the new dish, the New York Burrito, and I had the Mexican Sampler. Both of us would gladly say it was the best Mexican-style food we’ve ever had. Our daughter just had chicken nuggets and fries, but she was pretty happy, too. We intend to make it a regular stop on our annual birding trips.“

“I came here a little over an hour before closing then was seated by the hostess, our waitress took our drink order then was inattentive for 35 minutes after me even waving her down multiple times but wouldn’t come to the table, I brought it up to the owner and kitchen staff out in the sushi making area, and they were right at my service, from there me, the owner and few employees even made some genuine conversation, and brought out the food very quickly, (which is always fantastic) when I was all finished the owner told us it was all free, I really hope the owner and staff knows that was the best customer service I have ever received, so a huge thank you to the owner and staff!“

“Barr’s Public House is such a great spot! As a realtor, I love that it’s super convenient and close to several title companies—makes it an easy stop after work or between appointments. The shrimp taco is absolutely amazing (definitely my favorite on the menu). I went one time on a Wednesday and got to enjoy some live music, which made the atmosphere even better. Great food, great vibe, and a really nice place to relax. Sometimes a little slow on service but overall I highly recommend!“

I so appreciate their sweet staff asks each time if I need a dedicated GF toaster for my bread 😋, and they happily modify some of my menu items if needed. The newer location is spacious, just as bright, and has coffee! Thank you for choosing such great ingredients and going the extra mile for great taste, presentation and fun merch, too!“

I’ve always loved the food fresh, creative, and consistently good. But the experience of paying with cash is beyond frustrating. There’s almost never anyone at the register, and the kiosks don’t take cash. It feels like Balance has lost touch with the basics of customer service. At some point, they got swept up in this overly “woke” ideology that seems more performative than practical, and frankly, it’s off-putting. Sad to see a solid spot drift in this direction.“

“Panera is one of my “Go -To’s”, a standard for many other places, a role model for their niche market. I am a charter member if the Sip-Club, and highly recommend it.

Like many chains, there are differences, sometimes subtle and sometimes blatant, between specific locations. My favorite Panera location is in Perrysburg, the other side of the Maumee River from this location. This Maumee location is open, airy, and welcoming… yet colder, less clean and tidy, and slower than Perrysburg and a few others.

We frequently go into places, already familiar, with the place and menu, and even knowing what we’re planning to order… but we still like to ask for recommendations. The girl at the counter cringed a bit while saying, “I really don’t like our sandwiches, but I’m not much of a sandwich girl.” I always appreciate honesty, but I was not expecting that.

Overall, a good visit. If this location had been my first impression of Panera, I’d be pleased, and also pleased to return.“

“Just picked up chicken fried rice on way home and it is amazing! This is the second time recently I have done this and it was delicious and hot both times. I always love the smoothies from here but I highly recommend the family size chicken fried rice. It's a huge portion and we get like 3 meals out of it. Even the sautéed chicken in it is yummy. Not the mystery meat some Asian place dump in there. Tender yummy sliced white meat chicken. Thank you magic wok team! Great job!“

The only drawback was that our waitress never cleared any dishes from our table or came back to ask if anyone needed refills. We were there, a party of over 20 for maybe 2 hours. “To be honest on this one I was surprised. I was in a hurry on a trip, but I wanted a salad. Simply just not in the mood for a burger and all those fat grams. Really hard to find healthy things when you have to be on the road a lot. I looked at the menu at Panera and decided to try an Asian chicken salad. Much to my surprise it was very good. Chicken was absolutely delicious as well as the dressing and the rest of the salad. I did ask for extra almonds and no hassle at all. I also got a bowl of bistro onion soup. That was also good. I waited at the window for about two minutes and they came with the food. So speed of service was good.“
