“A charming “mom & pop” restaurant vibe. The food was delicious. The kids had chicken strips, the men had lunch meals, I ate breakfast. There are a lot of menu options at reasonable prices!! My favorite part about it all was the homemade pie they do in house there at the restaurant. It really set them apart. We had the coconut crème pie and the peanut butter pie. My daughter had a strawberry milkshake & my son had a bowl of vanilla ice cream. Nothing but good things to say about this place. West liberty has a cool antique store and thrift store as well.“

“We were on a train excursion to Urbana and decided to go here for the layover and have lunch. They were inundated with people waiting and we still got in within about 15 minutes or so which we felt was very quick. Service was quick, and the food came very quick, especially considering how many people were here. The food was delicious, I’d highly recommend the hog log. Will make a special trip to come back and eat here again for sure.“

“I feel like every American in the 80’s and 90’s grew up with a sub shop like this- no-nonsense, family owned, great food at reasonable prices. Here, they call it mayo, not aioli. Got a baked ham and a cheesesteak. Bread was flat, easy to grab and bite, crispy on the outside/chewy on the inside. Crisp lettuce, a little tang from mayo. “We were originally looking for taco salads, but after seeing the taco pizza on the menu ordered it instead. OMG, this thing was da bomb! We ordered an extra large! lots left over, but wife is sharing the rest at work with friends. Best taco pizza I have had in my 62 years. It was our first visit but will not be the last. Excellent beyond all expectations.“

“Good food, best whisky list I've seen in Ohio and the beer selection is good as well at a reasonable price. Was nearly forgotten at the bar and service wasn't great. Lots of greys and brushed metal inside, atmosphere was nothing special.
Burger was solid, fries were pretty good, their Mexican-style strawberry shortcake was ok. Bring cash as they will charge you 3% for using a card on top of your bill.“

“First time being back since they first open. The staff was great got seated right away then the waiter was right there taking drink orders. I ordered wings and garlic parm fries. Wife got the burger with the pulled pork on it. everything came out hot and fresh with great taste. There was a couple downside my wings came out needing a life jacket way to much sauce. Plus for being a sit down restaurant it would of been nice to have actual silverware instead of pre packaged plastic silverware. Will definitely be back.“
