“We are from Texas and had to visit Columbus for my husbands job. We came here for dinner this past Thursday evening and the service was amazing. I had a very cranky baby and several of the waitstaff offered to get her a variety of different things to make her happy. I really appreciated that. I ordered the fried pickles and the fish and shrimp. The pickles were SPEARS which made me very happy as I love me some fried pickles but I can’t get spears anywhere around here. The fish and shrimp were hot and fresh and so crispy. Beer was ice cold and I left fat and happy! Thanks again for being so kind and understanding with my baby girl!“

“My husband and I received fantastic food and service on 4/27. It's the little things, such as bringing addional sweet n low packets to the table without prompting, and making sure we had a second beverage before we finished the first glass, that separate decent servers from the excellent ones. Abby is definitely in the excellent category! Our burgers were prepared as requested and tasted delicious! We don't live nearby, however, we'll definitely make a point to visit again when we are in the area.“

Our main concern was the cleanliness. The pictures on the wall had a lot of dirt and food splatters that seem to have been there a while. Perhaps a monthly deep clean would help. (Floor and tables were clean) It wasn’t the experience I read about on their website though.“

We sat outside and it was going to begin storming so they closed the canopy around us. They turned on fun twinkly lights, swept up. Most importantly, when it began raining so hard, we couldn’t hear and it started to come through the canopy, they didn’t care at all that we took our large group inside!!!! Most of all, there are not enough words to say about our waitress, Robin. The best service we have EVER had anywhere. She treated everyone like family, no one ever waited for a thing!!! Not for food, not water, not drinks, not napkins, not anything. No one even had issues with their bills even though this large group was all separate and moved all over the place. Everyone in our group expressed how amazing she was and how not a thing went wrong or unnoticed or not taken care of. She is a wonderful person and a master of her job. “Atmosphere is casual, mature, classy, simple. Fun and chill place for food and drinks and talk. Definitely not a rowdy bar which is nice if you’re trying to avoid that. Decent prices, honestly good for the quality of food you get. Also GOOD portions (got the nachos, snickerdoodles, and drinks- everything was massive!!!) The Ladies running the food were phenomenal! Quick, and efficient and super sweet explaining how the place works since it was our first time. Our bartender/server was super kind also but maybe not as quick and efficient. First drink i ordered from her was VERY strong, second one was fairley weak. Otherwise good and she just seem to get caught up in conversation. Granted there was only us and 1 other table here, she also sat down to talk and conversate with the other table while we were waiting to order more. Overall really good experience though! “Love this place, but really? Kitchen closes at 9pm during Ohio State and Notre Dame Championship game that started at 730. It’s 9pm, the house is packed, not an empty seat, not even halftime and the kitchen is closed. And they call themselves the number one place to watch the Buckeyes…kitchen would be opened if I ran this place.“

“Woodlands is a great place to hangout. The crowd is always great, service is efficient, beer is cold, and good food to boot. Any afterhours work gatherings we plan, it's always at Woodlands. Really like the vibe and crowd often found at Woodlands.“

“CoHatch has been by far the best coworking community ive been a member of, the value you get with a membership is most excellent. for someone like myself that is a roaming worker, I never like to work the same place every day, cohatch is perfect as there are many locations.. not only that, but each location has its own vibe, its own decor, and personality.. Having local roasted espresso is another plus as i get craft coffee-shop quality espresso as much as i want.. the staff has been nothing less than fantastic in helping me find things, answer questions and the like, wifi is always nice n fast, all locations use the same credentials so its easy to get connected. each membership level includes 24x7 access which is perfect for the ikes of myself who tends to work at odd hours. it really feels more like hanging out in a trendy coffee shop than it does in an office.“

It is almost always packed though, so occasionally there's a wait, so keep that in mind if you go at a busy time. But they serve you so quickly that even if there's a wait, it isn't long.“

“Favorite part of my Sunday routine is stopping in at Flanagan’s with my kiddo and ma for brunch. Service is always amazing, pub food is certainly pub food. You know you already know. Their pizzas and subs are on point. Spicy cheese curds are amazing. Salsa is always fresh. Excellent Rubens. A bowl of soup is a proper BOWL. Try the chili. Zach is our family favorite but everybody is always awesome at Flany’s! I tend to avoid the live music so I cannot speak to that, and no offense to the artists, I enjoy conversation with friends and that can get too loud to hear or be heard. They have a breakie menu, regular specials, and a smashing Irish coffee.“

“We are from out of town and needed to feed 16 people after our original plan fell through. I called and spoke to Jeremy and he was quick to accommodate. “We come to this location every month for a professionals luncheon in their event space upstairs. The team takes such amazing care of us. James is extremely accommodating and always communicates back quickly. Stew always checks in after our lunches to make sure the service was good. Giovanni takes such good care of us, always patient and kind, always in a good mood. He makes it such a good experience for us. The food is always hot and fresh, and it is always good. Highly recommend for just casual dining or if you have an event. You won’t be disappointed!“

“I had the small wedge salad and added chicken. It was a nice sized portion with about half a grilled chicken breast sliced. It was good but nothing stood out to make it any better than most wedge salads. Being able to choose a size and add protein was a bonus. We shared a small order of onion rings that were fresh, hot and delicious. I highly recommend giving them a try! We each had a cocktail and that was definitely the highlight for me as it had been a long and stressful day. Being able to sit out on the patio after the rained had cooled off the hot day made our meal even more enjoyable.“

“I think of the St James Tavern as the best pub in Columbus. It has a large pool room at the back, which I do not use, but plenty do. It has a great Juke Box. The pub staff and clientele are extremely friendly, the beers are high quality and often changing (nearly all microbrews), and there are no flashy TVs. This is not a sports bar. This is a pub. The collection of liquors is very good too. Mostly it is the atmosphere I really like. Traditional pubs like this are disappearing all over the country, including Columbus. This one is a real treasure. If you want a quiet chat come earlier in the late afternoon or early evening. The parking is very easy then. By 10 pm is will be more crowded, noisier -- but it is always a positive crowd.“

“I recently visited The Rack in Columbus with a group of friends, and we had a fantastic time! The place has a great, laid-back vibe that made for a perfect last spot out. We played pool and darts, and with three pool tables available, there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The ceilings added a nice touch to the atmosphere! “Breckenridge peanut butter is a pretty great dark beer if you're looking for a savory drink. Hop valley bubble stash is good if you're looking for a sweet beer. The place looked pretty cool, it had a pool table and three dart boards. A great place if you're a student in OSU's college town area and want a place you can walk to.“

“First, the service is awesome. The food is pretty cheap but surprisingly it is not frozen crap, or it doesn't taste like it anyway. It's basically normal bar food and the menu was pretty small but everything we had was good, for what it was and what you would expect at a bar. The atmosphere was laid back and friendly. We were there for karaoke night and everybody had a blast. The food did take a little bit of time but we had 14 people and a bunch of appetizers and there was a full bar with one bartender and one guy I think who was the cook and helping serve at the bar. All of the patrons inside were friendly and chill, no trouble makers, no belligerent drunks. Most sang or watched the game on one of their many TVs. There is a pool table also, but just one.

Overall it is a really nice little place with a corner bar kind of feel to it. They have things to do like trivia on Mondays and karaoke on saturday. The food is not Gourmet but it's good for a bar and the price is good. And it's the best service I've had anywhere in a long time, with a staff who seem like genuinely nice people, not just getting paid to be polite“
