“We’ve been going to Isa for a while, so when we started planning our wedding, she was honestly our first and only choice. Yes, her pastries are out of this world and I could wax poetic on them - specifically the sweet potato one, look if you know you know - but this review is for the absolute masterpiece of a wedding cake that she put together for us. Because we’re long standing customers, we actually ended up doing both the spring/summer and the fall/winter tasting boxes. There is no wrong answer here, every single cake she makes is delicious, but we ended up going with the pretty traditional almond raspberry with the raspberry jam. It’s sweet, it’s decadent, and it was a huge hit with our guests. And god, just look at it! So beautiful! 100% worth it, choose Isa and Three Bites for all your pastry and cake needs!“

“Cute little cafe in downtown! I walked here from my hotel after reading about this Lemon Aioli and Rosemary-Lemon Sausage, I knew I had to have it. I placed my order online and headed over. It's super cute and isn't incredibly busy in the area where it's located. It also has its own parking lot which is a plus! My order was ready as soon as I arrived. I ordered the Rosemary Breakfast Sammich. Yum! Totally unique and unlike any breakfast sandwich I've had. Super flavorful, and the marriage of the flavors betwixt the fresh baked croissant bun. Chef's kiss! I also ordered a regular drip coffee. It was tasty! The cafe itself is adorable and cozy, but bright and happy. I also really loved reading about (and supporting!) their mission. “Good macarons are hard to come by, but Macaron Bar in Short North has some delicious macarons! They make everything in house from scratch and I can tell they take great pride in delivering a great macaron! I ordered a pistachio macaron and my first bite had the initial crunch of the top and bottom layer. Then came the chewy/doughy of the macaron as I continued to chew my scrumptious macaron. It had the right amount of sweetness and I could taste the pistachio flavor. Wow. Will be back again!“

Anand worked with our group to provide a wonderful atmosphere for our event. The staff were attentive and very professional in their assistance. “My husband and I came in for the first time fri night around 7. The person working the counter was so sweet! They explained each dessert to us and even gave us some samples. The original baklava just came out fresh and we were able to get a taste of that and it was so delicious I could taste hints of rose water. The shop was clean and very chic. “This is top 2 best bakeries coming from a CA girly. My first time visiting Ohio and we came back 3 times in a week. The minimal design showcasing all the fantastic desserts was beautiful. We had the pistachio tart, chocolate bombe & crème brûlée eclair. I DIED! The eclair was our favorite, perfect execution of texture and sweetness. Its a must if you're debating on what to choose. The tart was next fav and chocolate bombe was good but I prefer cake over a mousse. Tried all the seasonal drinks. The honey butter latte was the winner. Staff is professional and friendly. The cherry on top would be if there were more seating inside or outside. Im obsessed with this place and it'll always be a non-negotiable when I visit.“

“We visited Pattycake Bakery and purchased a piece of cake. It was Chocolate Cake with caramel flavored frosting I do believe but it was delicious either way. The prices are surprisingly reasonable (not boutique/cafe prices for an individual item). “I'm very split on this place. I love that they clearly use high quality ingredients. I love that they have creative baked goods and breakfast/brunch items. I love the decor. However it is very expensive. Which would be fine, except half of the time (out of 4-5 times) I have gotten a meal here it has been bland. If I order a ham biscuit with horseradish sauce, that should have a ton of flavor, but lo and behold, somehow that happened (although the biscuits have always been consistently good). Where do you buy bland ham from? The service is generally quite dry... I always kind of get the impression that I'm an inconvenience. The employees aren't overtly mean or disrespectful, but they don't really do much to make the place feel welcoming. Again, that'd be fine if it weren't for the lack of consistency and the prices. However their desserts have always been very good, and I always like to see what seasonal pie they are doing. It's hard for me not to step in and buy a slice when I'm walking by on the sidewalk. You'd find me coming here much more often if they could make their breakfast/brunch consistently good enough to justify the high prices.“

“I've been buying the bread and buckeye's from The Candied Cottage for almost a year now. The breads are moist full of flavor, they freeze great and tastes as good as when you purchased them. The buckeyes have a great chocolate taste, I have purchased the dark and milk chocolate buckeyes. They also freeze great and they taste even better frozen.I think I have bought every flavor of bread and buckeye that Candise has made and they never disappoint.“

I’ve driven by this place a lot and finally remembered to stop in and am I glad I did. The staff was super friendly and the biscuits were phenomenal. “Drove cross town to get donuts. Posted hours online and on their door says 7 to 3. They are closed at 1pm. Great customer service!!! There were somebody actually in the store and when I asked them when they would be open again they pointed at the sign. the same sign that says they should be open right now! For the 10 minutes it took me to write this post..4 different customers tried to visit. Guess yawl got enough money... don't need the business. Not even a sign saying why you are closed. Meanwhile 2 employees are inside cleaning... watching us like we stupid... cause we think you should be open. Guess I'll go back to supporting the local bakeries that have been here!!“

“I have eaten so much horrible gluten free bread over the years I was looking forward to getting my order after finding your bakery on line.I was impressed with the packaging and the bread is delicious. It also has a 13 gr carb count that is lower than most gluten free products. My husband likes it better than his bread. Will definitely get my bread here from now on.“
