“Ginger is the best waitress ever!!“

“So anybody that knows me knows I love good customer service and hate bad customer service. With that being said I only waited about 5 Seconds from entering the door before the young lady at the drive thru let me know that someone would be with me in a moment. That moment was 30 seconds later when Miss Brianna approached me and started taking my order by asking me what she could get me. I got a bigger plate with orange chicken, teriyaki chicken and beef and broccoli. I made a joke that I was allergic to all the other stuff because it had onions in it and the other young lady Tanisha let me know that there was a possibility of there being green onions in the fried rice. Good catch!!! She asked the cook and it was then that we realized that there wasn't green onion in there and that I was able to order my food but I did thank her for her concern. Now I have been in Panda Express several times and I'm not going to say that the customer service was horrible but today's customer service was top tier. My cashier Ms Brianna let me know about the different flavors teas that they have and offered me samples. I considered it over and above yet, nice to experience. Glad I made the stop. Lunch was great... keep up the great work ladies“

“Took a chance on this place because I was craving lo mein and it’s close to my apartment. The food is phenomenal and not super expensive. Their spring rolls are probably the best I’ve ever eaten! The shrimp in their shrimp lo mein is super flavorful, and the veggies are super crunchy. I can’t recommend Chuan Jiang Hao Zi enough!

I always get fried dumplings but they are often more like steamed dumplings. I asked mr wok to please make mine extra crispy. Holy crap, these things are perfect! “The chef, I think he is the owner said that Chow Fun is his best. I also recommend that menu if you want to try some non-Americanized Chinese food. There's some extra chilly oil on the shelves, put them in your plate and you might feel different. The picture I attached is Malatang.“

“I have been coming here over the years so today it was nice to bring my kids somewhere that I have been coming to, every so often, since I was in my teens. I have no complaints.
And actually, my son dropped some sesame chicken on himself and on the ground and the lady immediately came over and helped clean him up and his clothes. I was focused on cleaning the floor and table but she didn’t even notice those, only the mess on my son. She showed much compassion in this moment in my eyes.
Great customer service. The food is still the same quality it has been. My son said he wants to come here more often. And we can’t get my baby to leave right now, still eating his fried rice!“

I lunch there frequently and the hostess, waitress, cashier all wrapped into one person is a very sweet and efficient representative. Living in Columbus has its challenges, Asian Taste is always a delight.“

Billy Lee’s has become our family’s Friday tradition! Every week we come together here for good food, laughs, and quality time. The drinks are always on point – especially the lemon drops and mango cocktails, they’re our favorites! The atmosphere is welcoming and makes it the perfect spot for a family get-together. Highly recommend!“

“Their food is delicious!!! There are so many vegetables in their food. It is much less oily than other places. Because I don't order ahead, I wait at a table. I watch people come, get their order, and go for the entire time I wait. My favorite is chicken with vegetables ordered a spicy. The veggies included broccoli, snowpeas,carrots, baby corn, bamboo shoots, and fresh mushrooms. The broccoli was very crunchy, not overcooked.

This time, the takeout was in a styrofoam container that leaked in the bag, causing precious sauce to be lost. Previous orders were served in plastic containers with tight lids that didn't leak. I'm hoping this was an anomaly, not the new normal.

“We ordered take out so we can't rate the atmosphere. My husband had wor sue gai and I had spicy lo mein with chicken. Generous serving size and best we've had in years. We used to eat here years ago but somehow forgot about this place. That won't happen again. The food is delightful, awesome, and priced fairly!!!!“

“This is by far the best Chinese food I have ever had. I’ve lived in Columbus for 44 years and this is by far the best Chinese food around. I drive 30 minutes from Delaware just to eat this about once a month. We love the General Tsos. It’s so flavorful. The customer service is unlike any other restaurant around.“

“The staff is very friendly and very patient. This was helpful for the children that were ordering. They were able to accommodate seating changes as well. The food was all very good, especially the shrimp with lobster sauce.

Vegetarian options: When looking at the menu they had a good selection of vegetarian options that weren't just sides. Ma la string beans and broccoli with garlic sauce are really good if you like a bit of spice.

Parking: There's usually open spots right in front of the diner. If there's an event you might have to park further down, but it's a short walk.

Kid-friendliness: The menu is broken up by protein making it easy for kids to narrow down what they would like to eat. The staff is very patient and will explain clearly what is in the dish making it easy for selective eaters to find something.

Wheelchair accessibility: The door is standard size allowing for most chairs to fit through and there is only a slight bump for the sill. The tables are going to be slightly low for some people, but if you have a tray or have okay reach it shouldn't be a huge issue. All tables and chairs are moveable and staff are willing and able to provide assistance if needed. For the folks with service dogs who would like to sit further from the dining traffic there's a table space towards the front corner of the diner that offers more privacy. There's plenty of room for a medium to large size dog to sit and lay comfortably without being disturbed.“

“BEST CHINESE IN COLUMBUS!! Hands down!! The orange chicken, lo mein & moo goo gai pan are soo good & everything is always hot & fresh. They also have reasonable prices & fast delivery. I've never gotten anything from here that I didn't love!! Try it, you won't be disappointed!! They are a small takeout restaurant in Southeast Columbus that doesn't look like much, but the looks are deceiving. I won't get Chinese food from anywhere else in Columbus & that's a fact!“

“Want to give them zero stars so they are not as busy. But I have to give them credit they have really good food all across the board. Love the chicken skewers (satay). Bourbon, tso, sesame, Rangoon, triple delight. All but an occasional fatty batch of boneless spare ribs. So stay away to keep my wait shorter. You will enjoy this place. 20-30 per person because I create a buffet at home it so good.“

Unlike other buffets, Asian Star's food that's supposed to be crispy is actually crispy and not soggy breading floating in sauce. I've been coming here for 25 years or more. I've been to several other buffets. No other local buffet compares.“

“Four of us went here for carryout as we needed the last minute meal. We all got different things and most of it was good. I got the wor su gai which was nothing like I've ever had anywhere. I order this dish a lot at various Chinese restaurants, but this one had like a breaded chicken and the sauce was not the yellow or brown gravy it tasted like a teriyaki sauce and it looked like teriyaki sauce. It was good but in no way tasted like wor su gai. I thought the egg rolls were good as well. The lady was very nice at the restaurant and thanked us numerous times for the business. And she threw in a egg drop soup and everybody's to go order and wrote free on the lid. I don't eat that soup. so it just want to waste on me, but it was very nice that she did that. I would maybe try it again, but get something different. They were a little slow, but not bad.“

“We went to the Ace of Cups to watch a performance by Galactic Empire yesterday and we're hungry so we went across the street to Northeast Chinese restaurant. This little hidden spot for most folks turned out to be some of the best Chinese food that I have eaten in my life and I have eaten Chinese food all over the world. The portions are huge, the price is good and the staff very friendly. I recommended anybody traveling through Columbus that might want some good Chinese food, to look this place up and go there and eat.“

“This would be my second time trying the Chinese food here, the first time I don't think the restaurant was having a bad day, however I just wanted to give them another chance, (the egg rolls are amazing) yesterday I stopped in for lunch and let me say how wonderful the food was!! “Order Take out here quite often. Haven’t tried everything on the menu but the Honey Chicken is fantastic. My go too is the Honey Chicken, Chongqing Noodles, and Crab Rangoon. This could feed a family of four for $40. As far as Asian Cuisine in the area I haven’t found anything quite better. They are always friendly when I arrive and seem like a great team earning an honest living. Will definitely come back when I’m craving that Honey Chicken!“

Pepper steak was very tasty rice was cooked perfect green peppers were cooked perfectly as were the onions and every part of the pepper steak was proportioned evenly, some places will throw an abnormal amount of onions in the mix to try and save a buck.

“Love this place. Food is always fresh and tasty. I always get the shrimp lomein and love it. People that complain about the prices going up are simply broke and complainers. Economy isn't what it used to be but even so its extremely cheap.“

“I visited Lucky Dragon recently and honestly, it was one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had in a while. I completely forgot to take a photo of the food — that’s how good it was! The fried rice was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. You can really tell they care about quality.

The restaurant itself is very spacious, clean, and welcoming. The atmosphere makes it a great place to dine in, whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for dinner with friends or family. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive — they made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in.

“The cashew tofu was delicious! I’ll be ordering delivery from them again and look forward to stopping in. FYI their vegan menu doesn’t show up on DoorDash like it does on the website, but you can make notes on other selections to specify what you’d like!“

“I order from Wangs regularly on DoorDash, and I have never had a complaint. One time I received the wrong order, but only because the dasher gave me the wrong one. Even though the options were wrong. It was still good.

Recently I stopped by in person to pick up an online order. The staff was very friendly, and even though I was early for the pickup time, the manager apologized multiple times that they were not making the food fast enough. When I asked to buy an extra crab Rangoon, he tossed it in for free for the wait (again, they were not actually running behind!).

Overall, the staff is very friendly, the portions are good, and the food is always tasty. I am happy to call them my favorite Chinese carry out!“

“Update 3/1/2024: Still soo good. It seems that they've improved their ability to handle more customers since this past holiday season.

Previous: Not the best wait times during holidays, but we're not getting food from anywhere else on special occasions. We'll hopefully be able to for years to come :)
