“Good food! Make sure you ask for the sauces that you want. For example, soy sauce and sweet sauce. I hate the mustard.If you order egg foo young, you have to get extra gravy because the patties are big (3) they don't give you enough. The shrimp egg rolls are ok. You may find 1/2 shrimp.

Parking: You can park in front of the restaurant or on the side. Sometimes, extremely busy, so it can be a problem“

“We were staying in Euclid and we came across this little gem!! We were first surprised that no one was sitting in the dining room on a Friday night, but while we were waiting, like 20 folks came in to get their take out!

“I gave it 4 stars only because today was my first day. Everything was good and I have no complaints but one consideration. At La Garden, when you get sweet and sour chicken they give you chicken by itself in one container and the sweet and sour sauce in its own tub. Here they put the chicken on top of a bed of sauce which made the bottom of the fried chicken coating a bit soggy by the time I got home. If they change that then I will give them 5 stars.“

“I have lived in this area for quite some time and was not aware of this Chinese Restaurant; however, I am glad that I now know of them. I bought two Shrimp Egg Rolls, thinking they would be like the place I used to go to on Libby and Warrensville. To my surprise, I could only eat one and the shrimp were so large and delicious. “I had never been to Panda Express and the lady who helped me was so cheerful to help me and talk about each of their dishes and way to either make up plates or order ala carte. I was very happy with the food and service both. My favorites were the Mushroom Chicken (Mala) & the Pepper Chicken. The egg rolls were so good. Plenty of cabbage in each one. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.“

“When Richmond Mall was in decline, and then closed, and then the Pandemic hit, a lot of stores in that neighborhood also closed or barely hung on.

That included a once thriving Chinese restaurant on Richmond Road right across of the Mall, Hunan East. Since 2020, it was limited to take out only.

Hunan East is back as a full service restaurant for the first time since the beginning of the Pandemic! It has new very experienced ownership, and the food is OUTSTANDING!

If it’s not on the menu they will make it by request. For example, they made me the best Hot and Sour Soup I’ve ever had. Because I don’t eat pork, they made steamed pot stickers stuffed with chicken and vegetables. On the menu, a first for us, Chicken with Chinese Egg Plant was delicious.

“Ordered takeout and went to pick it up. Only in the location briefly to pick up our order. Easy enough, in and out.

Their menu was a little hard to find online before ordering, but from some photos of the menu, we figured it out.

I got chicken and broccoli combo meal/dinner and my wife got the chicken lo mein combo meal/dinner. Plus an order of crab Rangoon.
Both meals were tasty enough. I thought the crab Rangoon was a little heavy on scallions, but okay. Egg rolls were good too.

Order total was about $27.

We passed another place on our way there, as they were closed on Tuesdays, so for convenience we might go there next time rather than coming back here, but that's not about the food, just the distance from our house. We'll probably go back, but want to try other places first.“

But the food, which is why you come here, is excellent! Rice is cooked perfectly, everything that I've had so far was prepared the way you'd expect and seasoned just right. “The only acceptable place to take out or eat there , in Euclid. For a Chinese fast food place this one wins the best around. Yes, they raised their prices very much, but if one lives around, nothing else decently in Euclid. Not sure if its true that they do not use GMS, but this is the only respectful and clean eatery in the city of Euclid.“
