“This was our first place we went to for a meal when we got to Amish Country. I got the roast beef, gravy, mashed potatoes, and corn. Delish!! My husband, Mark, got the meatloaf , mashed potatoes, and corn. They served dinner rolls with the meal and I wanted to eat all of them ...delish!! We split a piece of pecan pie. It was good and not as sweet as some I have had. We would definitely recommend the place!!“

At our table we had the walleye fritter, the pork chop, new York strips, winter calamari, bacon wrapped scallops, gnocchi, lava cake, sweat potato cream Brule, and New York cheesecake, there wasn't 1 thing that passed our lips that was not amazing! “We came to the market because we were staying by for the weekend. The milkshake and ice cream were delicious! I believe the ice cream comes from the Smith Dairy that is located in Ohio. The market was also very cool but we didn't buy anything. We were with a group of friends who wanted to attend.“

“We went there for dinner before a concert at the Ohio Star theater. I told our waitress that I have to avoid dairy products, and then ordered the fish sandwich. She returned a few minutes later, concerned that the fried fish breading might have milk in it. She suggested I change the order to a grilled fish sandwich , which I agreed to. It was the most delicious fish sandwich I've ever had; moist, well seasoned, and generously size. I gave her a nice tip. I also took a piece of cherry pie to go. I ate it after the concert. “Had dinner with friends here recently. Great little place. Number one for me was the value. For what my wife and I got, it was a great value. Half rack of ribs were tender with great flavor and with the added spicy barbecue they were just right. Baked beans had chunks of brisket an weren't too sweet, very enjoyable. Onion rings seem to be hand breaded with a nice crunch. I had to try the mango jalapeño cheesecake and it did not disappoint... don't be scared of it. It's not spicy at all, but is more about the unique combination. Bartender was very nice with a great smile. Our sever was very friendly with great recommendations and kept her cool the entire visit even though she was very busy with a packed house. My only knock is the almost non existent lighting in the parking lot. In the evening it is super dark out! I do recommend this place. Food was great, drinks were made well, service was fantastic, and pricing was better than fair. Enjoy it!“

“Went to the one in Dover Ohio today with 2 of our grandkids. We all had the buffet. The food was fresh and the prices were great. I can't say enough great things about the service. It's been a long time since I've seen a staff that attentive to customers. In a time where restaurants have stopped caring about the quality of the food they serve and the overall customer experience Shoneys bucks that trend. We will definitely be back.“
“The food was not that great. The chicken breast and mushrooms and the liver and onions tasted gross. They had an off taste to them. The mashed potatoes and gravy were decent. The corn had pieces of broccoli and green beans in them, so im going to go out on a limb here and assume that the person plating the food used the same scoop for all three dishes... the burgers, chicken tenders, fries and onion rings were actually good. The service was outstanding. Over all, for the quality of the food, it was well over priced.“
“I love to stop by when I come through town. This establishment is a town classic rhat serves fantastic pizza: sauce that has the perfect hint of sweetness paired with an amazingly flavorful crust. The texture is perfect and the cheese has a wonderful flavor, it doesn't taste processed like chain pizza. Their jojo potatoes are crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside. Their prices are also fantastic! I recommend pairing their food with a specialty soda from Lehmans (I chose an Almond soda!), and then finishing it up with one of their ice cream cones.“
“Brought my wife here for our anniversary. So glad i did! Food, drinks, and service was amazing. My wife had a filet and i had the chops. Both were soooooo tender and flavorful. To drink i had cranberry mules and she had expresso martinis, again both were great! Highly recommend this place for any occasion. Thank you Malcuits for a great anniversary dinner.“
“This bar recently came under new ownership and they have been putting much needed TLC into the place! It's already night and day to what it used to be, but they also continuously work on improvements. The bartenders are all great, the food is amazing (you have to try the fish, it's a special recipe and i love the wings), and the atmosphere is really chill. There's 2 pool tables and they often have special events like karaoke and fued night.“
“Nice restaurant, great food and close to the Lion's Theater.Parking: Small lot next to the building and a larger lot on the back side of the building, but on a Friday evening with a show at the theater down the street, the lots were full. There is on street parking.“
“This place gave a lovely Amish Vibe and had a great variety of foods on the menu. My mother and I both ordered the chicken which was delicious and crunchy skin. Mashed potatoes with gravy were AMAZING and the green beans too. The noodles side tastes just like chicken noodle soup without the soup. The building is very clean and peaceful with a beautiful view of the hills outside. Also the bakery was closed and the cashier was nice enough to ask if they had some coconut cream pies left and went and got us some which was really nice of him.“
