“Highly recommend this restaurant. The menu was thoughtful (interesting) and the food exceeded our expectations. I had the duck that was cooked perfectly. We found the tastes to be interesting, special and very well balanced. The owner/chef said hi at our table (it was a anniversary dinner) and we enjoyed hearing about the restaurant. Our waiting was attentive and engaging at the right level. We will come back.“

“POV: you take a Monday day trip down to Yellow Springs from Columbus with your dog for some hiking and exploring. After turning up to several dog friendly restaurants only to find them closed (don't rely on google for accurate info here) and being turned away by several others that aren't dog friendly, you and your dog finally get a spot on the Calypso patio. THEN, you order the jerk chicken wings appetizer. Beautifully seasoned and crispy- the perfect protein punch you needed after a long hike. No, your dog does not indulge in the wings, but the server brings him a nice welcome little treat. You proceed on with your order: Mojo pork. Ridiculously tender, with vibrant flavors and colors popping throughout the dish. You throw some island slaw on the side for funsies and some crunch. You pass on dessert because you want another excuse to make it back to Calypso ASAP. Truly a gem of a place. I cannot wait to come back here- will make another trip to Yellow Springs soon just for this place alone. 12/10- don't sleep on this place.“

“I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Craft goes into everything they do. Subs, wings, pizza is amazing. I love the traditional old world flavors. They are always friendly and smile even when they are super busy. Space is a bit small but it's nice for the atmosphere.“

“Friendly, open venue, great for meeting friends, brew their own. Can pick up selections in the cooler to take home or for a gift. Back patio next to bike trail popular place in good weather. Wine and non-alcoholic options available, snacks.“

“I say this with no hyperbole in my heart. This is the best meal I have ever eaten. I asked for the Vicks (???) burger where they freestyle it with the instructions "no pork and im hungry". I am a 6'6 350 lb man. They delivered. A mountain of a "sandwich" that was so large that the plate could not contain it all. There was no compromise on taste either. All components of the meal were in unison and pleasant, even foods that i am not so fond of were cooked to perfection. They even threw in 2 bonus tacos which have a complex flavor and are filled to the brim with meat and sauce. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Simply stellar.“

“We were in town to hit up the new comedy club and decided to stop here for dinner. Fun fact, it is the oldest Tavern in Ohio, so that made the atmosphere feel really olde time and inviting). We were sat inside in the back corner and my husband and I couldn't sit across from each other without our legs touching, but we made the most of it! The cheese curds were AWESOME and we really enjoyed them. The wings were also super yummy! It did take some time to get served, but It was also packed in there from the Eclipse and I bet they aren't use to a mad rush like that on any normal day of the week.“

“Aahar is one of the nicest, most sincere people you will meet in Yellow Springs. He's an absolute joy to talk with while deciding on which delicous meal to order. If you ever find yourself out and about YS and need a lovely meal, go see Aahar. Highly, highly recommend the Saag Paneer, it is creamy and the chunks of paneer are big and plentiful. I used to be a big garlic naan person but I tried the onion and I don't think I'll ever go back, PACKED with flavor. Thank you for a great meal, and even better conversation Aahar!!!“

“We've been coming to Yellow Springs for quite a few years, and always thought about checking out Peach's Grill. Honestly, the mixed reviews kept us going elsewhere for our meals. Decided to just go for it this past Friday night...so glad we did. The service, food, and atmosphere were very appealing. Believe all of the great reviews. We will definitely be making this a regular hangout.“

“We had pepperoni, green peppers and mushrooms. Very tasty. Loved the crust. Sauce was good without overwhelming the pie. Canned Pepsi products were ice cold. Pleasant staff, clean surroundings.Parking: Store lot is small but random street parking spots were available.“
