“Wow! This place has some amazing food! Even my son, who is a particularly picky eater, absolutely LOVED the stir-fried noodles. Every bite he took, he lost his mind, lol. Very good, I recommend the evil jungle curry at a 2 or 3 level hotness. Needless to say, I think I have a new addiction.

Kid-friendliness: The wait staff were very nice to my kiddos, I appreciate that.“

“Seriously the best in town! They are incredibly nice, and extremely affordable. The pizza is to die for, and the slices are quite large! They do not skimp out when it comes to portion size with anything they make. Their wings are also incredible.“

“We eat here every time we come to Shawnee. Haven’t been disappointed yet! We usually set at a table but today we sat at the bar facing the cook area. The food is fresh and very good. I had an omelette made to order with country potatoes and homemade toast. Very delicious!Go check it out!!“

“When we are down this way, we always eat here. We were surprised that they have gone the way of other restaurants by adding copious amounts of imitation cheese sauce and chili sauce on top of the food. The taco was good, but the enchiladas and tamale were smothered beyond recognition. I scraped off most of it.“

“If you don't like Jimmy's egg, well there might be something wrong with you. We love love this place. You can usually judge how good a place is by the wait to get a seat, and almost always when we go we got at least a few minute wait, definitely not a bad thing, well worth it. Oh, did I mention their bacon is the best in Shawnee, probably in the state, might be a little biased since I haven't tried all the bacon in state, but I'm willing to bet top 5 easily.“

“My husband and I went to dinner here when we were in Shawnee. We would both give our food and service a four. Our waitress was very nice, but they were so busy (probably a good sign for them) she didn’t have enough time to add that personal touch. My chicken nachos were good, however, my favorite part was the white Queso. I think next time I’ll just order some chips and white queso, it was absolutely delicious. My husband got their meatloaf with a side of green beans and mashed potatoes. He said he would give it a solid four, that it was hot and flavorful.We would definitely go there again if the opportunity arose and I have to say my favorite was hands-down, the white queso and chips.“

“The food is good. My favorite is the meatloaf. I had the meatloaf sandwich on 2 separate days. The first time I had it, it was about 45 minutes before their closing time, and I had it to go. When the waitress put my order in, the lady preparing the sandwich said - REALLY? This sandwich (2nd last photo), compared to the next time I bought it (last photo) were a far cry. The meatloaf, while both were delicious, were very different in size.The place has very good acoustics, so it is very echo-y and noisy.Overall, I still love the food and the ladies, and will go back weekly.“

“Everyone here is so nice. Our waitress Tee was just the sweetest. We didn't have to ask for anything. She was the BEST. I had the KV Burger it was delicious. My husband had the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast with Sausage gravy. It was very good.“
