“Great Ground Beef Nachos! 🩷 I wasn't feeling well and my husband drove to pick-me-up some Nachos (my comfort food preference) This was my first experience with this restaurant and I can happily say I was NOT disappointed. Now, onto the food!

I ordered the corned beef hash with sourdough toast and avocado on the side—and WOW, this dish delivered! The chopped potatoes were perfectly balanced with tender corned beef, and the toast was crispy on one side and warm and buttery on the other -- just right! Oh, and the hollandaise sauce? Amazing. Smooth, rich, and flavorful, with just the right little kick—it elevated every bite!

My wife went for the steak and eggs (poached, of course), and it was cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and flavorful, and her poached eggs were exactly what you'd hope for—delicate whites with velvety yolks. She loved the hollandaise sauce just as much as I did, adding it to just about everything on her plate.

Our younger son was all about those Mickey Mouse pancakes with whipped cream, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and sausage links. The pancake was fluffy and golden, and the whipped cream made it a total kid-pleaser. He gave it two sticky thumbs up!

Meanwhile, our older son went straight for the chicken and waffles. The waffle was light and airy, the fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, and together, they hit that perfect sweet-and-savory combo. He cleaned his plate in record time—always a good sign!

Our son's friend kept it classic with a chocolate chip waffle, scrambled eggs, and bacon. That waffle? Loaded with melty chocolate chips and just the right amount of sweetness. Add the crispy bacon and fluffy eggs, and you've got yourself a solid breakfast winner.

And did I mention the portions? Generous across the board!

All in all, EGGcellent & Things Cafe really lived up to its name. Cozy vibes, fantastic food, and stellar service. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we might just order extra hollandaise!

“went to this place to try something new instead of retrying this nearby mexican restaurant that had been bad last time we went, glad to try this one instead because it was very good and exceeded my expectations. its rare to find a place where the chips and the rice are really good completely on their own - on the other hand for the main course, i've had mexican restaurants that have served me juicier and more flavorful pollo fajitas, but i dont think any restaurant has given me a serving size as huge as they have here for fajitas. although the fajitas could use a little more seasoning and were cut pretty thin, they were stacked insanely high on the plate and were whopping portions. this restaurant has my approval“

I took my first bite of the French toast and I literally cried tears. I am not even a sweets person in the morning but the flavor’s exploded in my mouth. So amazing! The chilaquiles were authentic and AMAZING! The chorizo was perfect and the homemade horchata and lemonade was super. “I had the lunch papusas (#15). It was so fresh, and the pickled cabbage was authentic. The red and green salsas really topped it off. Their red salsa is 💣 so good. I had a side of queso and a bottle Coca-Cola. All together, it was $17 and some change. I could only eat one of the papusas. The portions sizes are big. So I took the other one home for my supper.
