“Stopped in really quickly for a spicy salmon roll and it was made to perfection. The flavours were well balanced and the salmon didn’t have a weird fishy flavour. The server was really nice as well. Would definitely return to try other items on their menu“

The service was amazing; I got greeted as soon I came into the restaurant, the cashier was great when I wad ordering, and she even came to me while I was eating to check that everything was good. And, of course, the food was amazing, as is usually with Edo. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!“

“The food is good, could improve in a few spots, but the quality is there. Service is ok long wait for the bill and to get refills, but it is usually pretty busy here. The last 2 times we were there, there was alot of kids screaming and running about. Not that is in yhe control of the resturaunt . Regardless we visit 6-8 times a year.“

We went for the all-you-can-eat dinner after 3 PM and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Honestly, we enjoyed every single dish — definitely a must-try if you love sushi.

Ordering is done through a tablet, which makes it easy and fast. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and even the washrooms were clean, which is always a good sign.

“Just tried Midami Sushi in downtown Whitby for the first time and all the 5 star google reviews were true. The staff were great and the food was amazing quality with huge portions for the price. We didn’t order sushi but had the Chicken Poke bowl and the chicken teriyaki. salad and miso soup included were also top notch. Highly recommend“

“Instagram ad turned into a great lunch. Options for sushi, sashimi and deliciously seasoned meats. Sides were on point with spicy kimchi coming out on top. Salmon sashimi was really good. Its great having an AYCE bbq place this good in Pickering not having to drive out to Toronto or Markham. Making this our go to from now on for Japanese BBQ.“

“Great food, lots of variety, fast and fresh. But they do cut your order in half. If you order 10 salmon sashimi you might get 4 or 5. And the staff have to come to your table and approve your tablet order which at one point took over 10 minutes.“

“I have been meaning to try this place for years, due to a friend telling me about it. The food is quality, and you can see the care in the presentation. To eat the fresh onigiri for lunch is very delightful, soft rice pillow of savoury. The popular one is the beef sukiyaki, but I was very delighted by the salmon one. Friday and Saturday get very busy, so advise planning ahead and ordering ahead for take out. Perfect for quiet lunch.“
