“Stopped in really quickly for a spicy salmon roll and it was made to perfection. The flavours were well balanced and the salmon didn’t have a weird fishy flavour. The server was really nice as well. Would definitely return to try other items on their menu“

“I'm from North Carolina visiting Friends in Ontario. I was feeling sushi so I asked a friend what's a good location around here. She told me this place was the spot if you're feeling fish. There are many places that serve fish here and in quite picky when it comes to my food. When I walked in everyone greeted me and I was sat down quick. Didn't know what to pick for there was a lot of options so I asked someone. Jessie, the manager took her time explaining what every dish was and which ones would suite me the best and I must say, she did not disappoint. The food was great and the service was better! Thank you Jessie for you have won me over! I can't wait to go back to my new spot whenever I come back to Canada!“

“I’ve always ordered from Edo Pickering & they have the best teriyaki sauce. I was so happy to see a location open closer to where I live! I just sent in an order and it was packaged so nicely, and carefully! It also included a free complimentary desert which is was such a nice surprise. I will def be ordering from here a lot more & I recommend to anyone looking for a good chicken/broccoli teriyaki bowl! I’m salivating writing this review just thinking about it, everyone check this place out!!!!!!!!“

“The sushi was good. I tried some mackerel sashimi, California rolls, and salmon rolls. They all were tasty and felt fresh. There was a slight tang to it all, maybe some special ingrediant to stand out. It isn't the best sushi I've had, but it is good for the lower price range it offers.

The staff were lovely and very attentive, I wouldn't ask for anything more of them.

The interior is on the smaller to medium side, but it's nice. It isn't immaculately decorated, but it's very clean and atmospheric. Again, good for the price range there.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some slightly cheaper, but still tasty sushi.“

“Just tried Midami Sushi in downtown Whitby for the first time and all the 5 star google reviews were true. The staff were great and the food was amazing quality with huge portions for the price. We didn’t order sushi but had the Chicken Poke bowl and the chicken teriyaki. salad and miso soup included were also top notch. Highly recommend“

“Instagram ad turned into a great lunch. Options for sushi, sashimi and deliciously seasoned meats. Sides were on point with spicy kimchi coming out on top. Salmon sashimi was really good. Its great having an AYCE bbq place this good in Pickering not having to drive out to Toronto or Markham. Making this our go to from now on for Japanese BBQ.“

“Great food, lots of variety, fast and fresh. But they do cut your order in half. If you order 10 salmon sashimi you might get 4 or 5. And the staff have to come to your table and approve your tablet order which at one point took over 10 minutes.“

“I have been meaning to try this place for years, due to a friend telling me about it. The food is quality, and you can see the care in the presentation. To eat the fresh onigiri for lunch is very delightful, soft rice pillow of savoury. The popular one is the beef sukiyaki, but I was very delighted by the salmon one. Friday and Saturday get very busy, so advise planning ahead and ordering ahead for take out. Perfect for quiet lunch.“
