“I first discovered Galindo’s through their food truck where I ordered the birria tacos with the birria sauce — and let me tell you, it was love at first bite! The flavor, the juiciness, the quality… everything was on point. I was so impressed, I came back the very next day with my son and had been bragging about them ever since!
When the food truck hadn’t been local for a while, I didn’t hesitate to take the drive to their nearest restaurant location — a little over 20 miles from my home — and I have zero regrets. The recipe stayed true, and the food did NOT disappoint. Still just as flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious.
The service was top-tier too. The owner/manager personally checked in on us and provided superb service that went above and beyond. He even recommended their other location that serves alcoholic beverages — now that definitely caught my interest, and I’ll definitely be visiting soon!
To top it all off, their prices are fair and reasonable for the quality you get. I’ve purchased from Galindo’s three separate times now, and each time, they’ve nailed it. Consistency, flavor, service — they’ve got it all.

“I had 5 broken teeth and 2 large abscesses and couldn't eat much of anything but was starving. I was looking for something soft to gum. Thinking tamales or beans and cheese. Of the options the flour tortilla beef birria seemed to be the best fit. I ordered those, a side of beans and, a side of consomme. Was amazing. Just on the edge of what I can tolerate heat wise (I am a wimp). Great taste. I used the consomme to make birria ramen for a later meal. (Just beef ramen, 2 sticks string cheese, and the consomme). It was also great, very satisfying.“

“Today's lunch a special order Chori Pollo OMG mixed Chorizo n Chicken topped with Cheese Marvelous just ask. She had a Chunky Beef Wet Burrito Yummy 😋. Thanks Yolanda 😊 for the 5 star service. Best Al Pastor Taco's around town, been a dozen times since opening. A favorite in Lincoln Park 3073 Fort has a large following of regular customers 😁. $1.79 each Taco Tuesday packs the place for dine in and take out customers. Sergio and sister Yolanda run the place along with help from three kids. Jalisco Mexico the hometown via Sw Detroit has marvelous Authentic Mexican meals and Booze too. My favorite Al Pastor Tacos 😋 rule, I'm addicted have them once per month. I have them add Sauteed Onions and Jalapeno for a Xtra kicker, with fabulous Salsa Verde. She had the Chicken Tacos 😋, we shared a outstanding Steak Fries. Those fries one of the very best ever Eaten, plenty for 3 or more to share. The spotless clean restaurant and five star service by Yolanda keeps us coming back. Hundred plus 5 star reviews around the web Google and Yelp, a must visit. Eat Cheap stop paying 5 bucks for Tacos, you funny Gringos. “Taco shells were not cooked and rice and beans were ice cold! Straight from the refrigerator! Called the Manager and he couldn’t be bothered to come to the phone! I sure won’t be back! There were no cars in the parking lot and no one in the restaurant and it was lunchtime! I should have known better. Don’t waste your time or your money at this dump! I won’t be back that’s for sure!“

“Love love love this place! Have been going here since I was a kid. Best Mexican I've ever had!! I'm obsessed with the chips and salsa. Chicken tacos are my go to. But everything they serve is delicious. The food has always been consistent and the portions are generous. The staff are always super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place!“
