“We went for a late lunch. When we were there we were told we couldn’t order fresh sushi and had to get it from the conveyor belt, though this wasn’t a problem, the sushi on the belt was plentiful and of a decent variety. You could get hot food to order still however. Sushi was tasty and reasonably priced compared to most Jersey prices, in line with what you’d expect on mainland UK. However hot food was a bit on the pricy side and not amazing. Staff were helpful and attentive.“

“The food was amazing! So fresh & tasty! And, in the beautiful little town of Amherstburg across from the park. The owner is so sweet. She's known my husband since he used to work at a bank in town, and remembered him years later, and was so happy to see him. I want to go back asap! We had a Korean bbq bento box, spider roll, California rolls, and soft shell crab appetizer. Also my husband got to try a complimentary seaweed salad. Did I say the food was amazing? I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Definitely a gem of a restaurant!“

“I cannot believe I've been missing out on such an amazing place. I had the chicken hibachi *chefs kiss*. Fried rice is delicious, the kanisu appetizer is refreshing. My boyfriend had the hibachi steak, medium rare, 10/10. Portions are perfect. I cannot wait to try more from them.“

“We had dinner at Kona last night in Tecumseh on the rooftop. We had a fantastic meal and the service was great, considering there was only one wait staff up there. He did a wonderful job. My only complaint would be the seating. They are funky looking chairs, but they’re SOOOO uncomfortable. I’m 5’6 and the seat was way too deep!! Forces you to sit perched forward, which is really uncomfortable. And the seats are so hard I actually had a very sore tailbone. Other than that it was GREAT!!!!“

The place mats, the plates, the tea kettle it’s all well thought out and special. The service was great even though it was one server for a busy restaurant.“

“This is my favorite sushi restaurant in the world!!!!!! I have been coming here for 8 years; i wish they were open all days of week because sometimes im craving it when it’s closed and can’t eat it, but besides that it is the best sushi in downriver. My favorites are the jaladelphia, Obama, and salmon on the beach. Definitely try this sushi, & the prices are fair for the quality of sushi.“
