“We had a wonderful dining experience at My Thai in Ancaster! We started with the fresh rolls. They were perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious. For mains, we ordered shrimp fried rice and pineapple curry with tofu ,both were full of flavor and packed with fresh vegetables. The garlic shrimp was another standout dish, so tasty and well prepared. Great flavors, fresh ingredients, and friendly service. Highly recommend!“

“Cute little place to I go for breakfast or brunch.....or just for a nice long chat with a friend over a delicious cuppa whatever coffee or warm drink you like. It seats around 20 and has table options. Some for that quiet chat, some to be on you own facing the side window and some on the community table if you want to share your space. Food was fresh and tasty. You order and pay at the order area, then go to your table where they will serve your food when it's ready. Parking is side street with a little walk or pay at the street parking meters. Would go there again with a friend to chat with a cappuccino in hand and baked good.“

“We had a really good time at La Luna. My husband and I ordered the platter for 2 people which was quite
good. In my opinion, 3-4 people could have easily ate from it. The lentil soup was so warm and delicious, a really good appetizer to start with. The cold dips like the hummus and baba ganoush were amazing, especially the eggplant one. The meat skewers were also very tender and juicy but we couldn’t finish it after having the appetizers because the portions are just that good! I highly recommend trying out this place if you’re in the area. It’s halal and the staff are very kind, and take time to explain what the menu entails. 10/10!“

It’s a bit out of our way so we don’t go often because usually pizza is chosen for a convenient quick meal, but if we want to have a really good pizza this is the top of the list! Got the potato, ground beef and bacon soup, it was not bad, a little too salty for my liking personally, the complementary focaccia was a nice touch. Got the cheese pizza with salami, it was pretty standard and my friend got the scallop + shrimp pesto, it was pretty good.“

The chef spoke with us to ask how the meal was and she said everything is homemade and only cooked when ordered and you could definitely tell because it was all excellent home cooked food that you can tell was made with passion and love.“

“The food here is always awesome. The handmade noodles (la mein), the cumin beef, the vegetable soup, the mapo doufu (Mrs Po's Tofu/Pockmarked lady bean curd, a dish that has history of several hundred years from Chengdu), the Sichuan (Chinese spelling of Szechuan) noodles, ...

If you don't mind some flavor, there's not much you can go wrong with at this shop. One other person has mentioned the food is greasy. That's not accurate. A lot of it's oily, not greasy. It's Sichuan food, and that's normal for Sichuan food; it allows the flavor to spread throughout the food.

The beef cuts they use are catered more for an Asian taste. They're chewy and fatty so as to impart the most amount of flavor.

I've been going to this place regularly since it opened because it's right next door to our office. I've never once had a visit where I had to wait a long time for food. The other fellow that had to wait a long time for food must have just hit them on a really bad day or something. The longest I've had to wait is 15 to 20 minutes, and that was on a super busy day before covid hit for the pineapple fried rice.

They also have another location on Dundas just east of Hurontario. Hamilton is their second location.

This shop is in my top three Chinese restaurants in Hamilton, and quite possibly my number one. My favorite dish here is the dumplings and chili oil. BEST DUMPLINGS EVER!

“I get pizza from here for my board game night and it’s always a hit with my friends! The pizza always tastes great! The garlic sauce is also delicious. Definitely recommend trying this place out.
Toppings are fresh, cheese is good, crust is crisp and not too thick.
If you order ahead of time on Skip and you choose 6:45-7pm for pickup (for example), it’ll be ready at exactly 6:45. So just be aware! The pizza is definitely best when it’s piping hot.
Eventually I’ll have to try other items off their menu!“

“For being on campus food it’s probably one of the best locations — can get very busy around 8pm and crowded along w/ the second cup line. Food is always hot and fresh from the order line, and I haven’t come across anything raw yet. Some other foods like the wraps aren’t as good. Fries are usually over-fried but again, still good fries. One warning: sometimes they don’t know how to make the orders… for example I got chili twice but once it had cheese curds and crunchy bits, the other time it had salsa and sour cream. Which is odd (it’s supposed to come with salsa and sour cream) I also ordered a BCG poutine that was supposed to come with bacon, green onions, and sour cream, but It came with just bacon and some random shredded cheese? I mean I liked it but not what I ordered, double check with them if you’re really stingy about it though otherwise it’s a gamble.“
