“They have great food there but don’t go there hungry. You will be waiting forever for your food. We had many instances where we waited way too long for our food that we just decided not to go back. We stayed away for awhile and thought to give it another try tonight. Not only did we wait forever for our food, others got seated & served before us. I waived the manager down and she gives the excuse of the waffle maker being broken then the waitress says it was because they got our slips mixed up. They gave me antra salad to make up for it and my kid got sprinkles on his waffles. No discount on the bill. I loved going to this place but we will not be visiting Symposium again“

“We came on Wednesday around 1 pm. It was not too busy and surprisingly in most restaurants the less customers the worse the service gets so we were really delighted when we had food and service which was 10 out of 10. Our server was Zoran and he gave us maximum level attention and care. Our food, I ordered wings and fries and my friend ordered chicken sandwich and fries, was hot and delicious. Our desserts were delightful. Thank you very much, Zoran for your excellent service and thanks to the chefs for the great Swiss Chalet food. It was a perfect dining experience and we are both so grateful.“

“We truly enjoyed a leisurely lunch today at Kelsey's Richmond Hill. We need to give a lot of the credit and thanks to our server, Sarah, who was always there when we needed her. She provided us with some excellent suggestions for food and drinks as well as impeccable service coming from a warm and friendly person. While my wife was thoroughly enjoying a cup of tea and a hearty soup with salad and a sandwich, I was just beside myself with every bite of the mushroom melt burger. The burger and fries were prepared and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend that you try this burger, especially if you love mushrooms. Treat yourself. I was also introduced to a delicious refreshing beer called Muskoka Pineapple Ninja. I've never seen it before and it appears that if I can't find anywhere else I'll have to go back. All in all, this was a perfect afternoon. Also, we have promised ourselves that we are going to do this again next week.“

“We often visit the Kelsey's in Markham and Newmarket. Generally we've had good experience and great food. This experience was much different. We ordered the wings with fries and the steak fajitas. The quality of the food has diminished quite a bit since our last visit. The fajita were for 4 servings yet the fillings provided were barely enough for 3. There were very little peppers and the steak was tough and chewy. The wings we ordered were inconsistent. Some were soggy and cold, and others had no sauce on them at all. Fries were good but they were served in a little bowl highlighting the small portion size. Last time we were there the fries were on the side of the wings and were a good serving size. Attention to detail was not there and serving sizes have shrunk over the last few months.“

“Food was amazing, went too many times to count and never failed to impress. Easy to order, multiligual staff and lots of modification options if you need to make changes. Food portion was always amazing and food never failed to impress. Customer service is also one of a kind and never seen before from the wait staff and especially the front of house guy. Atmosphere is nice and cozy and quiet and the overall restaurant is very clean. Highly recommended!“

“This is a MUST GO TO Restaurant. I went for breakfast on March 20/23. My experience started with the best service from General Manager Gary Anthony. He was friendly, informative, and fast. The breakfast menu has everything. I love Eggs Bennie. While my style was not on the menu, Gary made it happen anyway. THE BEST EGGS BENNIE EVER! Gary recommended the Banana/Orange/Strawberry juice (it says fresh on the menu). I asked if it was "that grocery store brand" that shall not be named here. He said NO, we made it fresh from real fruit in the blender. It was like a smoothie from heaven. I will return often. While I live about 30 - 40 k from this restaurant (I had an appointment near it that morning) - I will be returning again and often. Next time I'm bringing my wife - She'll love it. Thank you Gary.“

Specifically during my recent visit our host Caitlin was great. She had a smile on her face, she was attentive, and she showed that she cared for our dining experience.
