My only complaint is that they no longer serve fresh cut fries but I understand that these are labour intensive and consistency in quality is difficult. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, not bad for a frozen french fry.“

Lady was working hard with no help over lunch our.

I think she was the only person working there. She took my order, cooked it and did the toppings.

The owners are independent, kind, giving to the community, selfless, generous, and they have good hearts. I recommend anyone, student or career person, to visit this restaurant. The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and you're not supporting a soulless machine corporation. They're worth every penny. Definitely try their food.“

I’m writing this review because I can honestly say that this was the best pizza we have had in a long time.

“The food was fresh but I ordered a burrito for my son and asked for double the meat. I got home and mentioned that I was charged $6 extra. My son informed me that it should have been $3 extra. I called and talked to the woman that served me. She said she doubled it. She seems to think that double the meat means two extra servings on top of the original serving. To me, this was a triple serving not a double serving. My son didn’t enjoy it because it then had too much meat. I'm not impressed with how this was handled. She just kept saying that this is how they do it.“

“I never goto subway expecting good food anymore. This place was really friggen good though. Everything is fresh and prices are pretty fair. They actually give you what you pay for. 10/10 for a subway location hard to ever manage to find a 5. I will be back“

“$7 for one teen burger(yeah right). got for $3.50. lots of terrorists in that parking lot. those in vehicles didn't know what a turning signals was. caught at least six idiots driving without a drivers license. floor was sticky. especially watch out for the idiots going into the drive through. no turning signals again.“

“The best shawarma in the world. I drive all the way from Mississauga to eat their shawarma since I don’t live in Waterloo anymore. It’s 100% worth the drive and recommend it to everyone I know who’s going to or lives in Waterloo. “A great go to for the classic poutine without costing too much. This review is strictly for the poutine where ive gone for the past 10+ years. There are two locations in st Jacobs. One is outdoors and another is indoors at one of the buildings. The fries come out piping hot and fresh. A good ratio of crisp exterior to plump but not overly plumpy interior. Cheese curds are used here and due to the hot gravy it melts appropriately as it should. Small poutine now cost $6.64. They also serve sweet potato fries, hot dogs and chicken fingers. Gravy is just right - flavourful and not salty for the standard poutine.“

“The best pierogis I’ve ever had, the texture is so soft and pillowy, these are the only pierogis I’ve ever had that didn’t taste like grocery store quality. The girl working was not very friendly though, she seems too shy/reserved to be in a customer facing role. Price is a little high for what you get but I would get these again as they are very tasty.“
