“Stopped by the Ballantrae Tim Hortons and had a great experience. The place was super clean, well organized, and not too busy, which made it very comfortable to sit and enjoy. They had all the food items fully stocked on the menu, which is not always the case at many locations. The staff were very pleasant, courteous, and provided great service throughout. Definitely one of the better Tim Hortons locations in the area.”

“We recently used barBurrito for a company event, and they did an outstanding job from start to finish. The entire setup was incredibly well organized—everything came neatly arranged in platters, making it easy for us to serve right away.

We opted for the make-your-own burrito bowls, and the quality was excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and provided in generous quantities—more than enough for everyone to enjoy.

What really stood out was the level of care and detail. They provided everything we needed, including serving spoons, crockery, cutlery, and even warmers to keep the food at the right temperature. They truly went above and beyond, taking the time to plan the menu with us and ensure everything ran smoothly.

Everyone at the event loved the food, and we’ll definitely be using barBurrito again for future catering.

“We came on Wednesday around 1 pm. It was not too busy and surprisingly in most restaurants the less customers the worse the service gets so we were really delighted when we had food and service which was 10 out of 10. Our server was Zoran and he gave us maximum level attention and care. Our food, I ordered wings and fries and my friend ordered chicken sandwich and fries, was hot and delicious. Our desserts were delightful. Thank you very much, Zoran for your excellent service and thanks to the chefs for the great Swiss Chalet food. It was a perfect dining experience and we are both so grateful.”

“I was here tonight. There was a young woman working the counter. She was very kind and helpful with us. She was all by herself at 7pm working on countless subs with a long line. This is not a complaint, I commend her! During all this rush, she got screamed at and recorded by 2 completely irrational women who were upset that they didn’t notice they got their veggies on wrong kind of bread (the end of the world as we know it!). She kept her head and her composure and I feel so badly for her. Treat your service workers KINDLY. They are human too. Not punching bags. It is never so serious for you to blatantly harass and scream a person for just following
rules set by management. If you don’t like it? Don’t go back! Food was subway. Always tastes just as you want it. No complaints.”

Here's what my friend and I had today!! ( gluten free, vegetarian options) Owners Alanna and Tyler are very caring people and go above and beyond. Food allergies and special diets they always make everything safe for me. The food is amazing and the staff are fabulous.”

“We ordered the Chicken parmesan and Caprese sandwiches plus Mike's Hot & Honey Pizza. The sandwiches were big enough to share. The sandwich ingredients were so fresh and the bread was delicious! The pizza was hot, fresh and the combo of toppings was super tasty!! Highly recommend.”

“I wish I had better pictures! The cakes were delicious. I went in with a ridiculous looking reference picture for a watermelon cake and it ended up looking like these! I had orderd 2 different (but similar looking) cakes, one for my daughter's daycare and one for a small gathering at home. The one for the daycare was vanilla flavoured and easily fed 20-22 kids and teachers and MOSt importantly, nut-free.

The smaller one was their famous tuxedo cake, extremely moist and was good enough for 12-14 adults.

“Nice cambodian restaurant. Alot of dishes to choose from. Their vermicelli is fresh and they give you generous portions of meat. I've been to many other vietnamese restaurants and the cambodian vermicelli hands down is alot fresher and more flavorful. The spring rolls are delicious and probably the best spring rolls I've had at any asian restaurant. I always get their fried noodle with beef, ginger/onion, it has the wok char flavor which gives makes it extra tasty.”

“Newmarket location - Don't want to cook? Do yourself a favour and try this place. We ate there yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised. Huge portions, one Swarma feeds two or one will be really full :) I may sneak out and have dinner there one night, just me and eat a whole Swarma to myself. Lots of ingredients, care taken to make the food, and lots of in-house-made ingredients. Bread is awesome. Not your normal pita bread, this stuff is fire. The staff were pleasant and smiling. So nice to see people serving you that don't look like they are being held hostage. Support these local places, you won't be disappointed.”

“I tried the goat biryani but was disappointed. The flavor was nice but the meat was quite tough, way tougher than expected. Everything else was great. Very friendly staff, prompt service, inviting atmosphere. I will visit again. wasn't given any other option other than 5 stars. I'd rate it 3.5”

“y'all gotta try their sushi menu which is available on certain weekends from Friday evening to Sunday, I am a lover of sushi pizza and this is by far the best ever!!!! the chirashi don is thick slices of fish and so so fresh, their raw fish is so fresh and I try to get it everytime it's available. Best to call first to check but even if you go and they don't have it, their ramen is the best, big portions and flavor is always on point.”

“My wife surprised me with a date night at Heather’s Table as part of our wedding anniversary, and it was an experience we’ll never forget.

Heather’s new location is absolutely fantastic, and from the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of great energy. We started the evening with a delicious charcuterie spread and a glass of wine before rolling up our sleeves for a hands-on pasta-making class.

Under Heather’s expert guidance, we learned how to make fresh, handmade fettuccine from scratch, paired with a traditional Ragu Bolognese and Genovese Pesto. The class was interactive, engaging, and a perfect mix of learning, laughter, and incredible food. Heather has a true gift for teaching; her passion for cooking shines through in everything she does, and she makes the experience enjoyable for everyone, regardless of skill level.
