“This restaurant serves fresh and healthy dishes. Service is always quick and friendly. Food is generally served very quickly. I've had the pho, the salad rolls, the vermicelli with pork and spring rolls,and the pad Thai with beef. It all tastes very fresh and delicious.

“It is very modern compared to all the other restaurants in the area. The menu was very easy to navigate, the restaurant was roomy and clean overall. The service was attentive and helpful. Everything was relatively quick.

The noodle soup dishes and pho were the same as all other restaurant, slightly on the bland side. However, they are very generous with the servings.

The appetizers are actually worth it in my opinion, and the vermicelli and rice dishes are more appealing than others.“

The service was good overall. The staff were polite and attentive, though there were a couple small moments where things felt a bit slow, which is why I’d give it 4 stars instead of 5. Still, they were friendly and made the experience pleasant.

The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a warm meal. It wasn’t perfect, but definitely enjoyable.

“Spent 3 weeks traveling in Vietnam and I'm almost ashamed to admit that Ottawa's Saigon Boy is as good if not better than the best I had in Vietnam. Dining room is everything but fancy and I hope it never change as all that matters is that decadent broth ... I recommend pho number 20 that has brisket and beef flank, 2 fatty cut that make it even more comforting. Me and my partner still try other places every once in a while hopping we can find a comparable since Saigon Boy closes early and aren't open on Tuesdays but nothing compares 🤷‍♂️“

“Finally a place that has not shrunk their portions! I cannot stand pho places now that make soups that you need to ask for extra noodles, why order a large if I have the noodles for a small...

Flavors were solid and you are getting what you paid for. I really enjoyed the pad Thai and the shrink satay soup was good. The soup could have been a bit deeper of flavor but thats what the side condiments fixed. The shrink donut was excellent and had that crispy texture while holding in the soup that you wish for.

The other menu items are absolutely delicious, the grilled meat for the vermicelli is phenomal. The Thai curry is amazing, the pad Thai is a little dry but delicious regardless.

Story: Ordered the Pho combo (101) and Nem Xào Phnang (622) using their online portal. Received a text shortly after saying the order would be ready in 10 min. Pick up was seamless and staff was friendly. Upon opening the food at home realized I had accidentally ordered the Veg Pho... Called the restaurant and they told me they could correct this error no problem! Again, staff was incredibly accommodating and polite. They did not need to correct my mistake free of charge, but they did! And then the food itself was so delicious and well worth the mishap. Easily one of the best restaurants in Ottawa just for the food and then pushed further due to the people.“

“I have been here a few times now and tried the pho and a few rice and noodle dishes. Everything has been A+. The staff clearly knows how to cook Vietnamese the right way. I also like their spring rolls . Again always fresh ingredients. Its a fair drive for me but I find it worth it.

“A wonderful place: clean, warm and intimate atmosphere; great Asian decor; a delightful hostess; authentic Thai food - all around a wonderful experience. I ordered the spiciest curry on the menu with the added wish "extra spicy," and the kitchen did not disappoint. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, good pricing. During my two hours in the restaurant, a valuable piece of jewellery fell to the floor and I left without it. I contacted the restaurant about it and left my name and address. A week later the item arrived in my mailbox here on the other side on the country. I was profoundly touched by this act of kindness. “When they first opened, I tried the food and found it tasteless, so I didn’t go back. Recently, I decided to give it another chance, and I was pleasantly surprised — the food was actually really good. I’ve tried a few dishes like General Tso’s, Pad Thai, and shrimp rolls, and they were all tasty. I’m looking forward to trying more from their menu!“

“We ordered the pork spring rolls, they were very fresh, and every bite was so hot that you could see the steam coming out! Absolutely delicious. The deep-fried calamari was a pleasant surprise! So fresh ! I didn’t expect the portion to be that generous! 😋

I usually order the traditional pho, but today I decided to try their special pho. I ordered Brisket Curry Noodle Soup 🌶️ SO good!!!!! The soup had the perfect balance of coconut milk and spice. The beef was cooked perfectly and just melted in my mouth. ( I’m serious !)

My husband ordered the Bún Bò Huế 🌶️🌶️ and is highly recommended for anyone who loves spicy food 🤣. So much flavor! It’s absolutely perfect for a cold day (it was -7°C when we went!).
