“I just finished my delicious meal at Sugar Dust, and oh my goodness—it was amazing! Every single bite of my turkey panini was perfection. It’s everything you could want in a sandwich: fresh grilled bread, flavourful pesto, creamy aioli, hearty turkey, melty cheese, and a fresh slice of tomato. 10/10!

I also ordered a side of creamy cremini mushroom soup, and it was absolutely delicious. It wasn’t too salty, which I really appreciated.

To drink, I had the dirty chai, and after my first sip, I knew I could never go back to Starbucks! Sugar Dust has such a great selection of drinks, and I can’t wait to try them all 😍

Then came the desserts! Sugar Dust has an amazing showcase of homemade treats, and my jaw was on the floor. I honestly didn’t know what to choose, so I picked one of everything to share with my family. My personal favourites were definitely the apple cake and date square, while the kids loved the carrot cake and Halloween cookies.

Aside from all the delicious food and treats, I really want to recognize the wonderful service I received today from George and Carmella. They are the definition of Bowmanville—welcoming, kind, and genuinely hospitable.

I had such a great conversation with Carmella about the service industry and how important it is to connect with people, even if you’re only serving them for a short moment. That conversation really stuck with me.

I was feeling a little down earlier today, but my visit to Sugar Dust completely brightened my day. I left with a happy heart, a very happy belly, and a big smile on my face.

“I ordered our Thanksgiving Dinner (decided to do something different than turkey). We got the Beef Brisket, Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans and Apple Crisp. Picked everything up on Friday and didn't serve until Sunday. I was a little worried about the two days in the fridge. Everything was EXCELLENT! I took the trays out of the fridge and let them come to room temp for about an hour. Then followed the instructions. Everyone raved about the meal, especially the tender and juicy beef brisket. Thanks again SJ's for always coming through and being so great to deal with. We'll be back!”

“I was dying to try the salted caramel cheesecake from So She Baked after i saw a post of it on her Instagram page and i finally ordered it two weeks back. The cheesecake literally melts in your mouth and i loved the texture of the base as well. The salted caramel topping was irresistibly good that I couldn't help myself from licking it from the sides even before i cut the cake. Would totally recommend So She Baked for the BEST cheesecakes, in and around Tiruvalla.”

“I ordered the Spicy basil fried rice and the chicken curry spring rolls on DoorDash to be delivered and everything went smoothly. Both food items are absolutely delicious and the rice is quite spicy (for me anyway..) If you plan to DoorDash, make sure you have your own utensils and napkins as there were none in the bag. Also theres enough food I will have another 1-2 meals leftover!”

“we just ordered from here for the first time. it was instantly our new favorite restaurant in town. the steamed veggie momo was light considering it was a dumpling but the piri piri momo was possibly the greatest take-out food we've ever had. we also got the daily plater that would require a glowing review of its own. what a wonderfully diverse platter whith top level ingredients (I found a cardamom pod and if you cook you know those suckers ain't cheap) well done. very well done.”

“I've been coming to this location for over 10 years and honestly can't say enough good things about the people who run it. No matter how busy they get, the pizza is always cooked perfectly. In all these years, I've never had a wrong order or had to wait around.

I appreciate the family run feel. They always take a moment to say hi to my little kids when they come in with me. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers, which is pretty rare these days.

Even my in-laws drive from two towns over to get pizza here, and they're not easy people to please when it comes to pizza.

Just a really great place run by good people who take pride in what they do. That's why I've kept coming back all these years.”
