“First time ever having fire house subs! And let me tell ya! The gentleman that toke our order was so patient, helpful and very professinal and supper friendly! Which I love also that some profits go to first responders etc! My sub was amazing! Me and my fiance have always went to subway for subs and today? We decided something differant as subways not nearly as good anymore! But we both area if we want subs we will be returning back to the fire house for subs for now on! Must be new owners or management, I've been twice this week and both times the washroom has been open after 7 pm. Previously I was told on 2 occasions that I wasn't able to use the washroom after I paid for my sub, they kept it blocked off because it had already been cleaned.
The service and subs are top notch too, so glad I gave it another chance.“

“My absolute favourite place for subs. I've always preferred Mr Sub to Subway but the sheer love and care that comes from this location is felt in every bite of your sandwich. Some people will write off Mr Sub as just another "fast food sandwich store" but the expertise and care Hina places into every order she does, and the way she has ensured her staff is trained - it's noticeable. Other Mr Subs don't feel the way this one does. After a long day at work, I am happy to make that extra stop here to get food that I know is going to fill my belly, have an experience that makes me smile and supports a business owner here in Peterborough. “On our way home from a road trip, I saw the golden orange sign, which is Country Style. We just had to stop for a quick treat as we don’t have many locations back home. The staff were very friendly and helpful and suggested new donuts to which I tried and was very satisfied with both new donuts.
10/10 will come back to this location again“

“Friendly staff. The pair worked as efficiently as they could despite there just being 2 of them. They finished our order of 4 individual sandwiches in about 10 minutes. It is a bit of a wait for customers behind us. A 3rd or even 4th employee would be hugely beneficial, even if just for peak times.
I've got subs and wraps here. The subs always tend to not be evenly spread - one bite is bun, the 2nd bite is the veg, the 3rd bite is the meat. Not sure if there really is any other way to build a sub tho?“

“We online ordered two sweet chicken teriyaki and the lady was helpful. We did dine in and she was playing with our kid while working.

“The Lakefield Subway is usually my first option for a to go lunch, during work. The sub masters behind the counter are always really kind and I’ve seen them take a lot from customers. I get the same sub every time and it’s always delicious. The cookies are soft and my favourite part of my meal, besides the friendly workers. Love this Subway.

Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is a good spot to take children. Lots of seating and I think they have booster seats (could be wrong, I’ll check next time I go). Lots of extra napkins available and the washroom is accommodating.“
