“Desi Bar & Grill in Mississauga is truly a hidden gem for anyone looking for an authentic Bollywood-themed experience. The vibe and aura of the place are simply unmatched, and the live band playing classical Bollywood music was absolutely phenomenal—it energized the crowd and made for an unforgettable evening. We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday here, and the team went above and beyond to make it special with personalized live music and a cake. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the night even more memorable. The food here is absolutely incredible—nothing less than what you’d get at the best places in New Delhi, India, in terms of taste and quality. Every dish was a delight and added to the wonderful experience. A special shoutout to our server, Meet—he’s an absolute rockstar in hospitality and customer service! His attentiveness and warm demeanor made the experience exceptional. The hospitality industry, especially in the west, needs more people like him. I have no doubt he’ll thrive and excel in this field. Desi Bar & Grill is hands down the most lively pub I’ve experienced in Canada in my more than half a decade here. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves great vibes, amazing food, and top-notch service. Five stars all the way!“

“First visit to Charminar today. Must say this is by far the best South Indian restaurant in the GTA. Very authentic Hyderabadi cuisine, each and every item we tried was unique in flavour. For the first time ever my 10 year old ordered a second plate for herself. The Chicken 65 dosa was awesome as were the rest of the items. We ordered enough to last us two days and happily packed it away. Will be visiting again soon. Highly recommended.“

“The place is beautiful, and the food was really good. I actually had a great overall experience, but the biggest downside was the service.

We visited for dinner yesterday and ordered two extra rotis with our meal. It took nearly 15 minutes for them to arrive, and when they finally brought them out, she only brought one, saying she thought we had ordered just one. We then had to wait another 15 minutes for the second roti.

By that point, we told our server to just bring the bill since we still hadn’t received the remaining roti. Thankfully, our server handled the situation very professionally. She was genuinely apologetic about the delay and the miscommunication, and even offered us a complimentary dessert to make up for the experience. We appreciated the gesture, but we had already waited long enough and decided to leave.

A big shoutout to our server for providing excellent customer service despite the circumstances. The food and atmosphere were great, but the long wait times and poor coordination with the rest of the staff definitely took away from what could have been an excellent dining experience.“

“Must say Biryani is No.1 in town. Totally love it !!“

“Rangeela Pan was an average experience overall. The fast food was okay, nothing too special. The samosa chaat was actually quite good and flavorful, but the pani puri was just average and could definitely be better. Decent place for a quick snack, but there’s room for improvement.“

“They have a wide variety of food. Their portions size are huge one person cannot finish it. Very tasty 😋 love going there“

“If you're craving authentic Chana Bhatura, Veggie Lovers is the place. Loved how light and soft the bhaturas were they didn't turn stretchy or rubbery even after reheating the next day. The side of mint-coriander green chutney and tangy carrot pickle completes the dish perfectly.“

“They do not create a bill, they only give you if you ask rightaway. When you call them for bill copy after finding no bill in any of your bag, they say it is your fault that you did not ask for a bill! Moreover, they say it is impossible to generate a copy of bill after the next bill is deducted - now this is surprising - isn't it a fraud? May be tax evasion! Can't comment, an expert can tell. I have the transaction on my card, I also have the call recording.“

““Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices.“
