“Me and my family visited Freska on our Eid day. It is a gem place in a small town. I loved the ambience very homey with a character of a cottage. Food was excellent though i found portion was relatively smaller. Definitely visit again because their menu has some ethnic items worth trying.“

“The richarellis salted caramel milk chocolate covered rice Kristie squares are absolutely delicious!! We prefer to eat ours chilled out of the fridge so they're a little harder. They are too good, it tastes restraint not to go here every weekend!“

“Thank you for making our holiday trip back home a breeze! My family of 5 came in at 7 in the morning on Boxing Day, and were greeted with a smile and were swiftly helped. We had quite the large order and the lovely blond lady at the front (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch your name) was so patient with us and made 100% sure she got all of the items. The worker who brought us our sandwiches was so lovely as well. By far the most pleasant experience I have had in a Tim Hortons in over a decade. Y’all killed it :D Cheers!“

“*Edited November 27/2023*One worker, Cheryl treats the younger staff like cr*p. I've seen this a few times before bringing it to my review. It makes for a very uncomfortable experience when you're waiting to order and having to watch one employee talk down to another on the regular. To the rest of the girls, you're still doing great!Felicia and Brittany are the best! Whenever they serve me my coffee is always perfect, donuts properly packed, and always friendly service despite it being so early. Afternoons/evenings are hit and miss.... the express location is better then. Mornings if you want good coffee make sure one of these girls serves you! Great job girls you two make that Tim Hortons!“

“HUGE shout-out to the wonderful staff at Timmie's on Franktown this morning. As the only take-out with power, they were crazy busy and were working at top speed nonstop. They handled it with grace, efficiency, smiles, and politeness.“

“I've never once before been to one of these gourmet coffee houses in my life. The extensive menu options with cryptic and unfamaliar names such as "Moccalotachino" and "Machiaatallatteo" made me feel like I was on a different continent in a country where I didn't even know what the native language was. And at this particular Starbucks location, the one next to Ikea on Pinecrest in Ottawa, the line was so long and everyone was in such a good mood that it felt more like I was queuing up to see the Smashing Pumpkins play their final concert. But apparently the barristas were so proficient at their craft that they were on the level of an Olympic team of Cappotichiono makers, because before I even had the time to take out my phone and ask ChatGPT to explain to me the difference between a Fat White, a London Frog, and a Caramel Michiokaku, I was suddenly face to face with a barrista asking me the question I had been dreading for the past two and half minutes: "What can I get for you?"The barrista was so unbelievably friendly she eminated a powerful ethereal vibe that touched me like a guardian angel sent from above to save me from total embarrassment when I randomly picked the simplest item on the menu and asked for a Large Latte. However, I pronounced it "Laydee".I accidentally ordered a Large Lady.I must have had an outer body experience, because I have no recollection of what transpired afterwards up to the moment where this heavenly barrista asked for my name and wrote it on the cup.I was still dazed, and instinctively asked for her name in return as if I was at a rave in 2012 asking her to add me as a friend on Facebook. She smiled at me with the prettiest teeth and told me her name was Amber. I reached over the counter and grabbed an empty cup and wrote her name on it as she finished writing my name on her empty cup.For a short moment, time stood still, separated in space by the counter that divides the barristas from the feining coffee customers, yet connected to each other in the multidimensional space of creative cognition and human emotions, each of us holding an empty cup, my name written on hers and her name written on mine, it was an unexpected magical moment of great symbolic significance (no doubt because the effects of the magic mushroom chocolate bar I had eaten for breakfast had just reached peak level).I walked out of Starbucks that day with nothing but an empty cup on it written "Amber". I don't even know what drink I ordered but I left it behind without a second thought. Because an empty cup is not empty at all: it's filled with the potential to fulfill my life's destiny.I highly recommend magic mushroom chocolate bars from your local Ottawa dispensary.“
