“We dinned on the dog friendly patio where not only did we have great service and food, but our dog also was created with a drink of Georgian bay tap water and her own meal consisting of carrots, beef patty and smoked fish skin. Over all this was friendly, clean environment with great food portions of fresh food as-well as service with lots of smiles!“

“Dropped in for the first time the other day on a whim and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. Ordered a Chicago Benedict and a buffalo chicken wrap. Both items came out in record time and as I’m 6 months pregnant, that was amazing. My buffalo chicken wrap came out without the “buffalo” at first and *Yusuf was quick to remedy. His service was impeccable. The fries it came with were also so good. We will be back.“

“We went in on whim for brunch after seeing some good reviews and wow. The food was outstanding, which we could tell when we walked in because the restaurant smelled amazing. And It was nicely traditionally decorated and everything was neat and clean. The waiter was very friendly, and the menu was big but clear. We ordered: Kaak (traditional bread - kinda like a much better pita), the halloumi, shakshouka, a meat and cheese pie (large), and a dip I can’t recall the name of but it was made with roasted red peppers, pomegranate molasses and walnuts and was very nicely presented with some nice olive oil in the middle of the bowl of dip. I also had the minted lemonade. All came out together for a delicious feast. The service was attentive but subtle. And when I went up to pay, everyone in the kitchen seemed happy and were having a good time and the lady at the cash was also very sweet. Seems like a family run operation. 100% will be back soon.“

“I had the chance to experience Duke Fine Foods yesterday at a real estate office grand opening and I was very impressed with the assortment, also the presentation was on point. And I did hear that the prices were really good And I was actually overly impressed with the value. I will be looking to use at the next catered event.“

“My wife and I visited this ramen shop last May or June, around 5 to 6 p.m., and had a terrible experience. The pork belly was incredibly hard and smelled awful. To make matters worse, our female server completely ignored us, even though there were only two other tables and the staff was chatting nearby. It left us feeling pretty disappointed after dinner.

Today, we decided to give it another chance, thanks to their event. This time, the quality and freshness of the ramen were much better, including serving quality. I think the owner or manager should visit more often to ensure the service quality stays high.“

This may seem like an odd thing to say, but it was really great that they made sure they rented an accessible portable washroom for their large market event. As I was sporting crutches (I recently broke my ankle), it was a total life saver that I didn’t need to take the stairs! Not sure if the port-a-potty is an “always” thing, but just the fact that they had it for their street market when so many folks wouldn’t even think of it made me grateful. Thank you for being the loveliest hosts! I’m not a coffee or tea drinker, but I’ll certainly tell all my friends about how kind the staff were!“

Not as impressed with the tiramisu, which was an odd kind of foamy/gelatiny something. And they really need to get a handle on the amount of plastic waste - even the plastic forks were wrapped in plastic; each cake slice wrapped in plastic; plastic plastic plastic. At least find something biodegradable, there's things on the market now! I would definitely go again but I'd bring my own mug and fork.“

“Bistro Mexicana 129 is a fantastic spot for authentic Mexican food. The dishes and drinks were delicious and truly reminded us of the flavors of Mexico. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared.

The large patio is a real highlight, especially for families. There's plenty of space, and kids have room to play while everyone enjoys the meal. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to spend time with family or friends.
