“What a wonderful spot! First time here and I will definitely be back when I'm in the area (I'm in Almonte semi--regularly). Right from the moment we walked in, the staff were super friendly and welcoming--especially Dennis (I forgot to ask but we think he may be the manager/owner) who chatted with us, gave us suggestions, and took the time and effort to talk to us and even delivered our coffees and food. He was super friendly and personable, and this allows him/this spot to stand out amongst other coffee shop or similar spots in the area. I've only been to one Equator shop before (Stittsville--also excellent!), but with the delicious coffee and friendly service here, I am going to become a (semi) regular. They have GF bread for sandwiches (although they had just run out on my visit--but definitely will have a sandwich next time!). I appreciate them having this option because its nice that those of us who can't have regular bread. Also, I love that they have quite a few treats/squares that are GF, vegan etc. I tried the Ooey goey bar (an oat type bar with chocolate--SO good) which was perfect with my coffee. We were very glad to finally try this place and both my partner and I were super impressed with the exceptionally service and friendly staff. Since they were closing when we were leaving, they even set us up with free coffee refills for the road!! Super awesome. Thank you to Dennis!!!! We are already looking forward to our next visit!! :)

“Great soups, sandwiches, salads. Affordable prices! For example, a soup is $5.25 and a Caesar Salad is $6. A Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich or Vegan Wrap is $7.50. Importantly, the food is tasty! Paninis are incredible!Definitely get food here instead of Perspectives Restaurant at Brookstreet Hotel. It's much more delicious.“

“I ordered some desserts, sandwich wraps, and a salad from this Cafe to be delivered to a sick friend and her husband. The food was absolutely delicious! Dealing with Raj was a pleasure as she gave me some food recommendations to send, and the food was still warm when it was delivered to my friend’s home. I highly recommend Cafe Aromesso and I will use their services in the future! Theresa Norris“

“All the donuts are wonderful, but Blueberry Fritters are my sister's favourite and I wanted to surprise her for her birthday. They aren't baked every day, so I was a little disappointed that they were not available the day before, and left the shop empty-handed. But as I did, owner Jon came out and asked how he could help. He heard my request and disappointment, and offered to bake me a batch for the next day . WOW !! That kind of service is rarely found these days, but when it is it is WONDERFUL. So were the fritters.“

“We had lunch at the Mill St crepe. Service, staff and food was amazing. The savory and dessert crepes were delicious. We could have had seconds. Mushroom soup was fresh and tasty. Txs for wonderful experience and friendly atmosphere. Many more crepes to try on our next visit. 👌“
